Update: Concerning your response, there's nothing to contact about. My boyfriend already sought out your student support services and it really wasn't the best, mediocre. Instead of telling us to go there again why don't you fix your CIRRICULUM, clinical placement process, lack of professional professors and student support staff. Like instead of the PT director wasting time getting triggered over innocent memes posted on the student walls, she should use up her time fixing the important stuff. About the PT program, I regret encouraging my boyfriend to go here. It really drained him and he still hates it and can't wait to graduate. The school really does seem like a "for profit" school- there are some professors (and staff) that sound awesome and helpful but others apparently like to talk down to students (one always likes to talk about how his coaches treated him like garbage so he thinks that "tough love" should apply to this setting as well) or just do not teach well or advocate for them well. WHERE DO THEY GET THEM FROM? Not worth the money being spent here. And yes, the anatomage table advertised is NOT EVEN USED (in San Marcos at least). Now, students have to get above a C in all exams to pass. Maybe start with a better curriculum and professors if you want...
Read moreAs the significant other to someone who attends this school, I think I could do a better job at managing the PT students clinical rotation. Not only do they ask students to pick 5 places they would like to attend in gaining PT experience and then pick the farthest places from those 5, but when local practices (who have contracts to take PT students) are interested in having a student on board, Claudia (the faculty member in charge of the rotations) will give it to a different student and then reprimand the student of interest. They also do nothing to help the students during these rotations - it's insane to think a school actually enjoys seeing people go into debt like this one does. If I could give this school no stars I would. If you're going to go in debt, I suggest going to debt at Long Beach or a different school, because this one is not worth it. Trust me, you'll be upset you ever gave this...
Read moreThroughout my entire enrollment process, Dayna Gutierrez was absolutely extraordinary, as she demonstrated professionalism, compassion, and dedication. She went above and beyond to ensure that my application was in order, regularly checking in with me and keeping me updated on all important dates and deadlines. Whether it was a late-night email, a quick phone call, or reaching out to other departments on my behalf, Dayna was always there when I needed her. Dayna made the entire process feel manageable and far less stressful. Her reassurance and encouragement helped me feel confident every step of the way, and I truly felt like I had someone in my corner who cared about my enrollment. If you have the chance to work with Dayna, know that you’re in the best hands possible. She’s not just great at her job—she genuinely cares about the students she supports....
