Horrible experience today. Must have hired someone new who is changing the climate of this business. Pizza was delivered late and when I called to speak to a manager. He replies well we can make a new one but we need you to bring the cold pizza back. How about no refund my money and take your pizza back. His reply "I said we'd make a new one dude so what's the f*ing problem"
The problem It's an hour late. My family was ready to eat then. Not an additional hour from whenever you decide to make another pizza. You're completely unprofessional Why would I bring a pizza to you that you delivered? Late!
Customer service makes or breaks any company. I'm not surprised the ratings are declining at this location. Shame.
Supposedly the guy I was speaking to was the manager. I seriously doubt that. That's not management. That's not top tier customer service. My family was ready to eat then. Read moreRarely do I leave a bad review, I’ll start off with that. I have been a papa johns customer for years and have always been satisfied with their product. About 3 days ago I ordered some Pizzas and upon arrival the doorbell rang and I walked outside to find the delivery man walking away and the pizza on my doorstep, I said thank you as I had prepaid my order and my TIP. I walked the pizza in the house to my surprise it looked like either he threw it at my door or dropped it somewhere along the way. Tried calling the store multiple times as I have no way of knowing if it fell on the floor and no answer. The app tells me to file a report for a pizza that I was craving 3 days ago and have gotten no response there either. Look at these photos... so much for “better ingredients, better pizza”
Went in person and the person on duty made it right... sometimes simply try king turns the experience...
Read moreWhile hot and fresh, my carryout order "The Works" only "Worked" on half the pizza. I've purchased from here several times, ordering online for pickup, and tip or no tip, discount or not, I've received the same quality. The pizza toppings are few and concentrated. About half of the pizza has all the toppings on it while the other half has about 3 of them. If it's called "The Works", how come only half of it "works". : (
I understand a store needs to make money and maybe the employees think they're not reimbursed when you use coupons like Gulls and all of that, but promotions are promotions and I'm I'm switching stores to Oceanside in hopes of finding toppings on the entire pizza.
There's a balance between revenue, retention, and losing a customer, their 50% toppings = 0% revenue from this customer for a good while. Hope others have better look or know the trick to get...
