UPDATE: within a few hours of posting my review, Escapology reached out to me apologizing and proactively provided a full refund + store credit. I am updating my review to 5 stars reflecting a masterclass in customer service, My family and I have previously visited this location to play "Lost City" and had a great experience. We were all excited to try this again. My family of 4 signed up to play "Under Pressure". The website informed us that the game could be scaled down in difficulty for kids (screenshot attached). However, once we checked in, we were informed that the game could not be scaled down, and that it was the hardest room they had. The reasons for my 2 star review are: 1) The room couldn't be adapted for kids 2) The room mistakenly unlocked halfway through the game, disabling the timer and shutting off several of the lights. 3) Hints were canned and often not helpful and redundant to what we had already accomplished 4) The flashlight burned out halfway through the challenge I feel like my circumstances may be unique, but I am frustrated that I paid $150 for this experience.

We recently visited this escape room for a little Scooby Doo adventure. This was for our friend's birthday so we made it an extra big deal by dressing up like The Scooby Doo Gang. Escapology went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time. I belive Belle, Sarah, and I believe Chrissy, were the staff members that were a part of our experience that day. They were patient with our extra birthday excitement. They even took some pictures for us. The lobby was really neat and fit the whole escape room vibes. The Scooby Doo escape room made us feel like we were actually in the TV show. The scenery over all was so creative and well designed. We actually escaped the escape room (which I hadn't experienced in the two I did before). They gave us cute bracelets for our reward to remember the day. The merchandise was really cool too! This was a great experience from start to finish. It really made our friend's birthday special. I'd highly recommend this escape room to anyone. 1st timers and those who just love escape rooms!

We did the “Who Stole Mona?” room at Escapology Sandy Springs and had an amazing time! The room was a perfect mix of easy and challenging puzzles, which kept things exciting from start to finish. We had a lot of fun working through the clues together and loved the creative setup. The venue itself is really cool—the moment you walk in, the atmosphere sets the tone for a great escape room experience. The staff is super friendly, and Alan, who greeted us, checked us in, and introduced our room, was especially welcoming and helpful. One small suggestion: while hints are unlimited (which is great), a couple of times we got hints for puzzles we had already solved, which made us lose a bit of time. If the hint system could track progress a little more closely, it would make the experience even smoother. Overall, we had a fantastic time and will definitely be coming back to try another room!

I was initially impressed by the ambiance of the establishment, and the staff was friendly, but unfortunately, our experience fell short. My husband made a reservation for us, and we needed to push the time back slightly. When he spoke with the gentleman on the phone, he was told that the difficulty of the room could be adjusted. However, when we arrived and signed the waiver, we noticed the difficulty was set to the highest level. We voiced our concerns, and the staff member reassured us that we'd have unlimited hints to help us through.

To our disappointment, after completing the room, we both felt incredibly misled. As first-timers to escape rooms, we were relying on the promise that the difficulty could be changed, but the room was still overwhelmingly difficult. The only "adjustment" was the unlimited hints, which didn’t help enough to make the experience enjoyable. The whole time, we felt like we couldn’t accurately gauge how we were doing. In the end, we left feeling frustrated, disappointed, and let down by the...
