UPDATE Once again, my fiancé just had to have a smoothie. He gives our orders at the intercom. Had to keep repeating it, the lil dude taking the order was speaking like we were his friends no etiquette. It was two males and they could barely handle the rush that came through. We had to pull up and wait, again. The smaller one, that took our order, made an açaí bowl and brought it to us for whatever reason. So I go back in for a refund on that particular item and this lil boy got fly at the mouth as if he wasn’t at work. He had the right one because who th are you talking to? Like I would really order something and say I didn’t order it. Be fr. Mind you he had just got chastised by a lady that had came in before I came in per my daughter that was already inside waiting for our smoothies. Stop throwing these ill mannered, untrained people in this store. Train them at least. All these bad reviews and you make no adjustments? None at all? 🙄 it’s absolutely insane that the same “manager” was complained on multiple times over the span of more than a year and took her to steal from yall to get her out of there. Had it been anyone else they would have been fired the first offense. Yall know what I mean🙄
I don’t know why I give businesses I’ve had bad experiences with and that have bad reviews second chances. I just ordered two medium strawberry hulks, no weight gain, vanilla protein. Simple right? I should’ve known when I had to repeat my order multiple times that this was a bad idea. I worked at smoothie king many moons ago and we were way more busier than this location pumping out orders in 2 1/2- 3 minutes not to mention being staffed with 2 people at the time. So the wait time is beyond me and ridiculous. After waiting at the window, the guy finally takes my payment and asks to pull to the front and he’ll bring it out. Waited another 10-15 min. I was the only one in the line at the time. Of course cars kept rolling up after that. There’s no telling how long they would have to wait. I sent my daughter in for a refund, to my dismay, she was told there’s no manager there and they can’t do it. So everyone is forced to wait an insane amount of time for these mediocre smoothies. I was so annoyed. I made it home and I’m still annoyed that this smoothie is disgusting and doesn’t taste like a strawberry or a hulk. Waste of money. I’ll inconvenience myself from now on and go to the location...
Read moreI will begin with truth with this business. The staff here is the absolute worst. They are extremely rude and unprofessional. My elderly family member took the children to get smoothies and it was a complete nightmare for them on more than one occasion. The lady " manager" was disreputable . No professionalism at all ( whoever promoted this lady they need to be demoted themselves). The first encounter the elderly family member had with staff, didn't realize that it was strictly drive through service. The manager came to the door refusing to open the door to speak with family member. She came to the door in an irate manner, yelling for no absolute reason. The second time it happened again . The young overweight guy that was there refused to help with the situation. All the children wanted was smoothies and the family member wanted some respect. Smoothie King hires anyone. The manager that works here has no managerial skills and shouldn't be in that position if they cant have a professional demeanor at all times. 3 days later the family member and children go back to the establishment in hopes that the manager and other staff member demeanor would be different. Different day different outcomes unfortunately the staff members yet again were totally unprofessional and unpolished. I took the time out to go there an speak with the manager and the improper behavior came out. Totally unnecessary. I ask to speak with her district manager and she did one thing correct she gave me the number to speak with district manager "Ruff". He was quite professional but I'm sure he wont do anything about her behavior and the young overweight guy that works there. It is a drive through smoothie place the stress level cant be anywhere near high for their behavior to be so distasteful and unpleasant. This behavior has and will be reported to...
Read moreI had a mobile order of a Acai Bowl, and came in person to pick it up, and after about 5 minutes of waiting to be addressed, I was told by the front desk person that my mobile order is being worked on and will be ready soon. After waiting for about 20 minutes, I approached the counter again to check on my order only to be told that they are not making bowls. Instead of notifying me as soon as they realized they couldn’t make bowls, I was waiting 20 minutes for essentially nothing until I myself had to check again.
I said I wanted to be refunded, but the lady at the desk said she did not feel like doing a refund and was encouraging me to just order another smoothie. So to be convenient for them, I changed my mind and ordered a smoothie (that was even less than the cost of the açai bowl I paid for). So- Not only did I wait a total of 20-30 minutes only to be told they couldn’t make my order, I left not getting my moneys worth anyway. I would have loved to be persistent, and ask if there is any way I could get a discount on a future order or something, but I was in a rush, and did not anticipate the whole process to take 30+ minutes.
I strongly recommend a way to notify customers if orders cannot be placed/out of stock. Perhaps there is a way on the app or the website to show that they do not have certain items, that would save a ton of people a lot of time and frustration. Another thing, there needs to be more precaution for circumstances like mine (waiting long for an order that couldn’t be made/ or even just customers who pay for something that cannot be made), that If a refund is not preferable, perhaps giving them a gift card or store credit for future use. Expecting a customer to change their mind that quickly can be pressurizing and the customer may end up losing money anyway (like me) even after their...
