I recently had my 50th birthday party at Huntcliff River Club and have only 5 star reviews on all accounts! First of all the venue is breathtakingly beautiful & peaceful. The wraparound outdoor patios lend a beautiful view of the oak trees & the Chattahoochee river and the floor-to-ceiling glass windows in the spacious banquet hall make you feel like you are at a scenic destination event :). The space was just perfect for my party of 90 guests, we had the round tables set up around the room, the high tops and rectangular tables outside on the patio, and there was still more than enough room for the buffet tables, dessert/cake table, bars, DJ etc. The hardwood dance floor area is a good size and the acoustics were great, our guests all had such a fantastic time! The large fully equipped kitchen was so useful for the food prep & the separate tiled bar area is wonderful. I loved all my vendors, but especially Mouth.Full Catering who were so reasonable, the food was absolutely delicious and the presentation was beautiful! Chesan & Jeremy are really easy to work with, I highly recommend them! They did my table centerpieces too, elegant & simple, just what I wanted! My desserts were made by Dulce Made by Humans, Esther Cohen, who is an incredible baker & creates the most delectable treats! Last shout out was to the cake creators Custom Cakes by Liud; my husband surprised me with two of the most gorgeous looking cakes I had ever seen and they tasted just as good as they looked!

I can’t end this review without talking about the marvelous Marianne McGee who is the rental coordinator and go-to person for HRC rentals. She is efficient, organized, helpful, reliable and just an absolute pleasure to work with! Ken who is the kind gentleman who does the room set-up, breakdown & day of co-ordination was also so sweet, helpful & detail oriented.

All in all I do not have a bad word to say about this event, it was a fabulous party from beginning to end and Huntcliff River Club is the perfect venue for your function. I would most definitely have another party here; they make it easy, stress-free and enjoyable for...

Huntcliff is the perfect balance of affordable and still really nice. The venue is a private clubhouse of a quiet neighborhood right on the Chattahoochee. The views of the river from the upstairs party room and the porches are the perfect backdrop, especially in the spring. The volunteers from the neighborhood who help are wonderful. We loved Marianne, the main point of contact, and Ken, who helped set up chairs and tables. They were both so friendly and wonderful. Huntcliff does also offer a free venue coordinator for the day of, but we could have done without.

You do get the entire building for your event, for the entire day, from 7 am - 2 am, which is great to not be limited to 4 or 6 hours like other venues. Since it is, however, a "do-it-yourself" kind of venue, you need to come and do all your decorations the day of your event, which was my one disappointment. Not being allowed to set up the night before or clean up the morning after our wedding put a lot of stress on us to do everything all on our big day, which was already hectic. If you don't have a wedding planner or a ton of vendors to decorate and clean for you, just know you'll have to plan out a very busy, long day. And assign people to be your cleaners and packers of decor as your riding away in your getaway car.
