Bottom Line up front: Overpriced fast food with “reserved” seating, & chaotic parking
I pass this place everyday to pick up my kids and always thought the location was questionable considering the reversible lanes and no traffic light right there. Just as suspected it is painful and to close off half of the parking lot for valet service is wild. Keeping up with the Atlanta Jones’ I see. Some people live away from the city to avoid city antics, but Roswell is bringing it closer to your front door.
I did a walk through during non peak hours and was in and out. A friend and I came back for dinner and it took 15 minutes to get out of the parking lot because many people needed to make a left out of the parking lot.
A food hall is nice in theory because you get options. However, none of the vendors offer high quality food and do so at a STEEP upcharge. I got a shrimp and fry basket for $16 and nothing was superb about it from the “seafood spot” and when I asked for a sauce they wanted to charge me extra! I got my husband a to go philly and it was a $20 for a kids portion. I took a peak at everything people were walking around with and none of the food looked appealing.
There is a stage with an area for a live band in the back but the seating is “reserved” after a certain time. This feels strange because it’s like half the seating in the venue and adjacent to where the arcade is for the kids. Reserved seating in a glorified food court? Hmm okay.
Don’t bring your family here, you’ll fair better going to an actual sit down restaurant on cost and options.
Maybe the booth rent is too high or something because you can get higher quality food by going down to Canton street.
More than likely won’t...
Read moreI need to share our terrible experience at Roswell Junction to warn others. Over the past month, we gave this place several chances and tried food from three different vendors. The food was consistently disappointing and overpriced.
Our last visit was the worst. My wife and I spent $60 on 1.5 sandwiches (she ordered a half, I ordered a full) and two adult drinks from the bar—no sides included. While sitting at a table to eat, we were rudely told we had to leave because the table was “reserved” for people who paid extra to watch the band. Here’s the kicker: the band wasn’t even playing yet, there were plenty of empty reserved tables nearby, and our table didn’t even have a reserved sign. We asked if we could just finish our meal and leave, but they still refused, all while being shockingly rude.
We were literally just eating sandwiches, and they escalated the situation to the point of asking us to leave the food hall entirely. This was hands-down one of the worst customer service experiences we’ve ever had.
It’s ridiculous to charge premium prices for mediocre food, tack on extra fees to sit near live music (which wasn’t even happening at the time), and then treat paying customers so poorly. To make matters worse, every other restaurant in the area offers live music for free if you buy a meal—no drama, no hidden costs.
Save yourself the frustration and avoid Roswell Junction. There are far better dining options...
Read moreIf you like to go to the bar at 7 am, come to The Junction! Even with no customers, apparently they need to blast the radio in & outside for all the neighbors to enjoy starting at 6 am! I'm sure the animals & neighbors love that.(I can hear it half a mile away. I'm begging. please stop). Enjoy a healthily-portioned meal that costs double market value & relax in the loudest food hall youve ever experienced! You won't understand your bro across the table, but you'll know the words to all the latest pop songs by the time you're done! Jokes aside, there are some gems of employees working here! Namely in the bar, and Mad Dads! Don't blame them for bad management. To the owners, please be considerate of your neighbors down the street & consider investing back into the location with some acoustic paneling. Nobody wants a rock party first thing in the morning. Y'all can play relaxing music--or just not maximum volume-- once in a while and you won't lose customers, I promise. Market research is important. tldr: Sensory hell, but maybe nice for a boisterous evening out if you got your tax return
I will revisit this review in a few months & see if anything...
