Sanford Academy of Gymnastics & Cheer — Attraction in Sanford

This gymnastics allows certain gymnasts to bully other gymnasts. While the head coach knows about the bullying and does nothing about it. The head coach is also a bully herself, and will scream and yell at all of the gymnasts especially when she is having a bad day.

Meanwhile they allowed a coach to work at this gymnastics for years knowing she was drunk on the floor at times while spotting children in their skills.

When you try and stand up for your child and what's right they all ban together and create a lie about you to make you look like a liar. Meanwhile they continue to allow certain gymnasts to bully other gymnasts with no repercussion.

They will also continue to charge you after you have left because they think they are entitled to do so because you left in the middle of the season. But they made no effort to help the situation.

If I could give negative stars I would. The foam pit smells like children have urinated in it, the temperature was a good 90 degrees in the whole place which made our party end about 30 minutes prior because it got to a point it was unbearable. Was told it would only be $125 for a small party and if I wanted to make the party to a large I would just need to call back prior to the event and switch it to a large for an additional $25 dollars. I called back increased the size of the party making the total go to $150, but instead my card was charged $225 and did not receive any documation at all which is my fault since I was busy making sure the party was a success. Called back the next day to see if possibly it was a mistake and it was not. I asked to speak to the owner and nobody has retured my call and it has been 3 days. Have very low standards. Young instructors are left with kids who don't know what they are doing so my kids didn't learn anything. Felt like a waste of time and money. Older looking instructor with dark hair was mean and always yelling at other kids. There are buckets, towels and garbage cans scattered throughout the gymnastics area for big water leaks = unsafe. It looks like there are holes in the roof. Daughter said the pit smells like a diaper and she didn't like being in it. Parking lot is confusing and busy but we eventually parked next door at a bar.

This gym is far cheaper than any in TX and CA so that's the reason for 2 stars instead of 1. We will not ever be back, looking for something closer to...
