Goodwill of Orange County — Attraction in Santa Ana

After this past Friday, I won't be returning to Goodwill anymore. Aside from the fact that there's a clear sign that says "Books: Paperbacks $1, Hardcovers $2" I grabbed 2 books I liked. When I went up to the register the lady wouldn't sell them to me because she said they were Target books and they cost more...I said, but there's no price on the book, so it's $2, and she said no its from Target so it's more. I'm sorry, what? They're selling books that have a Target sticker, whether directly from Target or donated by someone else at almost the retail price! There was a paperback I saw for $14.99 when Target was selling it for $9.99 😭 that's excessive. Another thing that struck a nerve is that they don't give you your change... I'm sorry if it's just pennies but they're still mine???? It wasn't that it was a few cents it's the principle behind it. No other store keeps your change without asking. It was dishonest. From not honoring their posted prices to keeping your change. I was sufficiently aggravated to write this review. Will not...

It's been almost 3 years and no restroom access..they keep blaming the city. But other store locations are doing the same denying the use of the restroom..where other stores do allow you to used it...not all stores are in the same page...and let me tell you I go to all the locations in orange and LA area and only the grand location in Santa ana..5th st location ..are the only 2 stores that deny the use of the restroom...I have call to corporate to let know about it but it seems that they haven't done...

DO NOT SHOP HERE! TRASH PEOPLE TRASH MERCHANDISE!

This location has incompetent employees that require proper training in fundamental customer service basics.

NO TAG NO SALE POLICY = REVENUE LOSS STOP ENFORCING VACUOUS POLICIES!

EMPLOYEES CONFISCATE ITEMS FROM CUSTOMERS CARTS WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE OR CONSENT WHEN THEY SHOULD BE ENSURING ITEMS ON THE FLOOR ARE TAGGED! EMPLOYEES SHOULD BE SOLVING SOLUTIONS IN THE MOMENT - NOT “TOMORROW“...
