I'm sadly writing this because I've been mishandled too many times! I've been coming here for quite a bit of time now I love getting my items from here and for the most part it's usually not a big deal However over the last few months I've had nothing but issues. The first offense is a falsely advertised one of their items in their auction which was really upsetting, but I wasn't upset because they were able to handle it and even though it took them over a month and a half to give me my money back, I understood the situation. Now they have lost my items four different times and each time I've had to wait over a month to receive them. That also doesn't include the time that I had to make an appointment for them. Most appointments once I purchase the item I have to make an appointment two weeks out to pick up the item. This has been frustrating and the last time I went there thinking everything is going to be fine and they'll have all my items Well sure enough I went to my appointment picked up everything went home realized that they didn't give me my items of requested so I put in a ticket number and waited 2 days and did not receive anything back. So I went there personally thinking hey maybe this is just a mistake and maybe they can resolve it there. I was dead wrong, I was practically ignored told them that I need to wait for the ticket to be resolved and I told them this is frustrating because their customer service is always lacking and never gets back to me it was in a reasonable amount of time and I feel like every time I try to bring up a concern it is waved off within a 2 seconds without being heard. I really want to keep shopping here but it makes it seem like they just don't want my business nor do they really care about what's going on or the fact that people pay a lot of money for these items and are waiting. Honestly I just want someone to talk to me to resolve my items but instead I'm having to write here cuz it seems that nobody cares about the customer service part of these transactions. I really want to be able to change this from one star to 5 because I definitely understand being short-staffed And overall the quality of items is amazing, but the customer service is just not there. If you try to buy from this location through their auctions just be prepared that they'll probably mishandle your items, potentially false advertiser items, and most likely lose them and make you wait way longer than expected If you pick up or they'll force you to do shipping which they'll charge you an arm and a leg for. Read moreBought a Barnes and Noble Nook online from them, description said item could turn on but was not further tested, so I purchased on the assumption it at least turned on, when I received the item, the screen was completely frozen and would not react to anything, hard resets, soft resets, unplugging the battery, nothing worked. The screen was frozen permanently. It didn’t turn on as they claimed. I contacted Barnes and noble to help me fix it, we went through a couple of things and came to the conclusion it does not work whatsoever and they cannot do anything for me. Reached out to Goodwill to let them know that the description they had stating it turned on was incorrect and was solely the reason I purchased it for my grandmother. They have ignored my ticket. It seems 3/5 interactions I have with Goodwill open my eyes a little more each time. They’re not good people. Would not donate to Goodwill if my life depended on it. Donate straight to the source, homeless shelters, etc. at least then they’re not worried about turning a profit or tax write offs, I mean how genius is it though to operate a store based solely on stuff given to you for free and turning around and selling it for a profit or giving the worse items to organizations and using that to write off on taxes to show less of an income. Need to ring door bell and wait to be buzzed in, then present driver license and inform the staff of your pickup time and parking stall number.
