The owner is the hairdresser. It is expensive for Haircut ($50). It takes only 15min for haircut. Huh! The biggest problem is the hairdresser makes customers uncomfortable. It is usual for customers to wait (the worst one I have to wait was 35min). In case the customers are late (I was late by 7min one time), he makes face on customers. He got easily angry and grumpy against employees. He cut my dialog with one of employees while she was helping me to sit and setting drying gadget on top of my hair. He call her loud and asked her to stop talking and doing work. I got frustrated. I feel like I was scolded for something I did wrong. It was awful!
With some time of silence I talked back and complained about being mistreated. He confronted me and talked back. He had lots of stuffs to talk to me. He complained that he served the best to me (he said I am one of his VIP customers) simply by providing washed gown and using tissue to sweep away hair from neck and face. These are regulations in hair salon in US! Again it is not a service but THE REGULATION! He also asked me how you were being my customer. How absurd!
This hair shop has lots of violations on Cosmetology regulations.
They have to provide washed gown to customers. It should not be reused. Beware! They reuse gown. They put back used gown into the rack with other gown. They said they wash gown once a week.
They have to use clean or disposable material to get off hairs from face and neck. Beware! They use the same used sponge to dust off hair from customer to customer. .
They should clean devices before using to other customer. Beware! I've never seen them cleaning devices before using to other customer.
They should not use any dropped stuffs without sanitation. Beware! I've seen many times he dropped to the floor and pick up stuffs. Reuse stuffs or put those on tray with other devices.
All employees at the shop should have licenses. I am not sure about this.
