Poor food safety. Poor customer service. Charges higher prices to customers he thinks are ‘Rich’.

I’ve been coming to Kabila for over 20+ years, it used to be my go to place for Indian sweets. That complex is my regular hangout. My last several experiences have been superbly bad.

I order Indian food and am eating there. I notice they have in their thali the item that has been recalled by the government due to contamination. I ask them, they said they got it in bulk because it’s cheap. I told them that customers might get sick. They said some of them have got sick but their boss told them that’s not their problem.

I stopped by to pick up small snack around 8:30-9pm which they usually get in less than 5 min. Once Gurinder Singh realized I’m in Indian and western medical field, he did a 37 min consult with me, keeping me waiting while there was no one there and customers served and gone and I’m starving after a long shift. Then he tells me after 40 min that what I want is not there, he gave it the previous customer who came (after me ) while he was chatting with me. Then, he says he will make something. He does and I pay full price - I take it to my car and notice it has hair in it. I take it back to him and he says it not theirs. I politely leave and just throw it. Chalk it up as one bad experience.

I drive 2 hours to come and get my favorite sweets and snacks for my office for Dassera. Gurwinder refuses to tell me the price for samosa and other things, continuing to say you pick whatever you want. I ask about a few things - not ordered anything yet. He says he packs gulab jamun in regular paper box instead of plastic with syrup in it, which I know will get dry sitting out in office kitchen. He keeps arguing and telling me about how I should tell my colleagues to take it from fridge and how all the Koreans around can’t get enough of their sweets. I notice the price he charged other customers. I ask about dozen samosa and ask for total, mine is more per samosa than the other person. I ask him what the price is, he says you are doctor, you are rich, there is premium charge for you. So i told him, I don’t want to order. He tells me that he already made dozen samosa for me and I have to buy it now. How? I asked him about it previous sentence and I haven’t placed order yet.

I used to be loyal customer for 20+ years but last several consecutive experiences have been bad. You make your call based...

Dirty place, Filthy tables with used plates and used glasses spread all over & no one to clean them. Flies flying inside the tiny restaurant and enjoying the sticky floor. This is how this empty restaurant welcomes you. I doubt, that if it's so good that it got such a good ratings from people, then why was it empty at dinner time. Maybe most of the reviews are left by owner's friends & relatives. The owner is such a Cheap guy that he lies on your face. If you buy a order of Channa Bhatura from this Cheap guy he will charge you $7.99 plus tax, & the funny part is that nowhere in his menu the owner has mentioned this price. He has just mentioned Bhatura for $3.49 in the menu. Now from where did the additional price of $4.50 came, he will not tell you. But instead he will argue with you & make fun of you.

Long story short, the owner is fooling people by not disclosing the real price of the dishes. But he will Shamelessly Surprise you at the end of your pathatic meal.

So if you ready for some Cheap Surprise by this Cheap guy, then only visit this Filthy, Untidy and Sub Standard place. Otherwise there are plenty of Awesome restaurants in the area with clean, tidy interiors and Honest and...

Very authentic, and impressive taste! We had the garlic naan with mushroom mutter curry the first time. The garlic naan is superb, it's probably the best in the area! We were very impressed and went back! The mushroom curry could have been of a higher taste if a little more spicy, which we asked, but they missed it. Nevertheless, the food itself was very tasty! (When we gave the feedback, they immediately offered to re-make it; service is definitely noteworthy!) We have also had the paneer curry, upon the staff's recommendation, and it was good too! Overall a great experience!
