I am very, but very! excited about this new addendum in Santa Clara. I went to the grand opening yesterday and it was very nice, tons of freebies and I even won 2 tickets to go to the Circus Vargas (awesome organization). Even though the marketplace is still under heavy construction and many restaurants are still about to open (can't wait to eat again the tacos from Puesto, a very famous high end Mexican taco shop hailing from San Diego) the general consumer can find lots of things to do. Like shopping at the awesomely new Whole Foods (yesterday they had tons of items on sale), get some new kitchen apparel at the Sur-la-table or get some chocolates for your loved one or yourself at a posh chocolaterie conveniently placed. I was surprised that even later in the day I went again and the parking lot was already full, so I hope they create more parking spots. Read morePeople in the leasing office were nice most of the times, but upon moving out when you go in and ask to clarify the massive move out charges they became very rude. They look at you like "whatever you say whatever you have proof of we dont care, you just got to pay". They switched out of of the room carpet claiming its ruined with a big stain. I showed them a video that I took the day I moved out proving there were no stain, but they just totally ignore that. However the pictures they took also dont showed the stain. They said: "its not clearly shown in the photo, but we say its there then its there". Very terrible experience, the office people look at me like " what do you want, stop asking and pay" attitude.
