NOW BADS : -* 1st of all when I found special on google maps and Price said $110 I said okay Cool , clicked on special, gives you list when I clicked on this special it said $116. I didn't say anything although technically that was false advertising. I checked out I believe it was $130 with tax I thought was a Great deal Breakfast , Dinner snacks, drinks. So when we get there they tell me there is a $25 Hold Fee parking (I'm upset for 1 there is plenty of parking that's ridiculous to charge your guest to park at your Facility) and 2 there is a Huge sign park at your own risk and NO SECURITY what are you charging me for your not paying a Employee to secure the parking If 10 guest stay charged $25 each ALONE for parking you receive $250 pay some 1 $15 hr Minimum 8 hr shift you just profit $100 Toward Next Shift , Like seriously I know good 30 guest stay there day thats More then enough to hire parking security even for FREE Parking as a Thank you for staying with us .
-(*)Dinner Cocktails & Snacks was a Joke ! They allow you to get boozed up so you can see others order Food while they just put chips and salsa out and veggies . I go up people are asking me oh did they put up already every one looking around so confused . Drinks here okay I got sunrise (No Cherrie in sunrise) that...
Read moreI think the best thing this hotel has going for it is the location. Being Hilton rewards members, my husband and I stay at a lot of Hilton properties, specifically, Embassy Suites. This particular location is probably one of my least favorites, ever. It is an older building, and not as well-maintained as one would hope. Nothing about this hotel is alluring or charming. It’s an inexpensive, clean, comfortable place to stay, in a desirable location. No bells, no whistles.
AESTHETICS: Older building, no charm. Let the flagpoles in the front hotel parking lot be a foreshadowing of what’s to come. All three flags, American, California, and Embassy Suites, are tattered and worn. It doesn’t get much better on the inside. As far as aesthetics, this hotel leaves much to be desired. However, I did appreciate the level of cleanliness throughout. Parking is spacious, but had “warning signs” for theft. There was also a parking spot covered in broken glass. Seems like they may have ongoing issues with vandalism. The main staircase was covered in plastic upon our arrival. The lobby ceiling was getting a fresh coat of paint. The pool is small, old, and unappealing. The smell of chlorine could knock you out. Nothing about it made me want to go for a swim.
SERVICE: The lobby staff was nice enough. Nothing notable, or that stood out. Impersonal. The best part of service here isn’t the staff, but the amenities; the included breakfast, and manager’s reception. Free food and drinks for the win!
ROOM: Clean and comfortable. Compact, yet functional. The furnishings, and doors are worn, and banged up with dents and nicks. The mini fridge didn’t get cold enough to keep my dinner leftovers. The bathroom is small yet had a nice modern design. The shower was spacious with beautiful marble tiles. The water pressure was good, and water temp got steamy hot just like I like it. I was also happy to see they offered upgraded toiletries. The standard Neutrogena products were usurped by the eco-conscience ZERO%. The body wash smelled and felt wonderful. The plush bed, and pillows were probably the best thing about the room; super comfy. I slept like a baby. The big screen TVs were also a win. Although, the channel offerings were extremely limited.
FOOD: Subpar, mass production food. The food is tasty, and comforting, but not of great quality or value. Nothing to write home about. Nothing to write a rave review about.
All in all, if you are simply looking for something clean and comfortable in the area, this place will not disappoint. If you are looking to have more of an “experience”, I would definitely pass on...
Read moreWhen we called to set reservations, my wife and I gave the person on the phone our information I what we needed due to our flight at 0910 hrs...therefore we had the following questions. ▪︎ (Q): Due to the time that we must arrive at the Airport because of our flight, what time will the full breakfast be available..because we wanted to eat breakfast (I did tell him that I always stayed at a Embassy Suites because of the breakfast) before our 5 hour flight?, ▪︎(A): The agent/ person we spoke to said oh that would be no problem, you will be able to do that because everything opens up at 5:30am, ▪︎(Q): In our conversation, I again told him that my wife and granddaughter & I enjoy the convince of having an omelets cooked in front of us..and the other things juices , fruit & cereal. ▪︎(A): Again he said he understands and that we have no worries because the hours are 5:00am and that should give us enough time to eat and get to the airport. •(Q): Does this hotel provide a shuttle to the airport , •(A): yes it does definitely will get you to the airport on time for your flight. So we get the hotel while checking in . e asked the following questions: (Q): What times does the shuttle leave for the airport in the morning? (A): We don't provide a shuttle! (Q): We ask about the early breakfast (A): It starts at 6:30 My wife and I had a lengthy conversation with the person & manager at the chech in desk about what we were told which are the reasons we booked Embassy Suites and not Doubletree who does have a shuttle system. The person at the desk and manager said they have run into this situation before where the people that takes reservation has give this information out.. and they have called them to correct the information in the past. The bottom line this was the most inconvenient worst experience I have ever had dealing with Embassy Suites.. If we didn't have a fight to catch the next day.. I would not have checked in for the reasons mentioned above. ●Update..the owner responded , and I am not satisfied with the weak &...
