I purchased a La-Z-Boy recliner in the spring of 2022 with one year warranty for parts and service that didn't arrive until September 2022 due to COVID (no issue with this timeline). Some loud squeaking developed in the rocker late July and I called in August of 2023 to request a technician to take a look. The customer service agent told me to "flip it over and put some WD-40 on it" to which I then had to explain it was in my infant's room and I would not be able to move it out by myself in order to inspect it. They waited almost 4 weeks (until the end of September) to come out and he "did everything he could" but it still squeaked and said I had the option to replace the rocker under the warranty. I called customer service to schedule this and because it was going to take "several weeks to arrive" I would have to pay for the installation (but not the rocker) because the one year warranty would be up when they needed to install it. When I asked why I'm being financially penalized for the length of time it took for the technician to come out the first time and delivery of the new rocker, she said "I'm only the messenger" and would need to check with management and would call me back shortly. MY Costco bed does not have mold. and I've had it for 2 years. Spend your money elsewhere.
