Derby Park is a nice place to bring your friends, family, or just go alone to chill. It has a giant a field of grass to play soccer, or to relax. There is benches scattered along the pathway and a few tables to have a picknick and a nice place to have a birthday party. There is also a decent tennis court and a great skate park. Theres a playground with 4 swings to chill next to or fornyounger children to play on. So far everyone I've met at derby Park was always nice, either at the skate park, tennis court, or just walking on the pathway. Actually there was 1 toddler that gave me one of those death stares. Whenever your down to skate, play tennis, or just go somewhere to have fun, derby Park is always a great place...

It was resurfaced around 10 years ago and locals feared the new concrete might distort the original transitions and lines. I guess preserving it for another 50 years is better than have it crumble away.
The park itself is so fun- obviously there's no ledges or rails or stairs here, you come here to bomb it down the snakerun and pretend you're in the Bones Brigade.
A piece of skateboarding folklore and a definite bucket list park for any skatepark enthusiast.

Later we started having keg party's there. They never lasted very long. The park has evolved into a nice neighborhood park.
