This is a nice spot with both indoor seating and outdoor seating. In general the place was clean and there was a line at the counter. They actually serve alcohol (sangria and local wine). As others mentioned, this is a family owned local business. The food was OK, nothing great but I thought it kind of lacked flavor. I got the breakfast burrito which was kind of flat. Same with drinks although they do have a variety of smoothies and options for vegans and vegetarians.
My biggest problem with this place was with their service. First, they are way overpriced for the food and service they provide. On top of that, after you pay at the counter you get an option to tip them with the lowest option at 18%. So, you buy your food at the counter, then when your number is called, you get your food and then after you are done eating, you are required to bus your table and take your empty food trays and cups etc to the trash. So there is really no service . So with grossly overpriced food, and no service why exactly am I tipping them.,that too before you actually get your food!!
Now to add insult to the injury, when I went to ask the lady at the counter what happened to my drink, she claimed I must have already taken my drink!!. And she stuck with that claim until another girl working there showed her where we were sitting and then the lady apologized but seriously!! I don't want to get their rating too low but really this was a gross experience.,and the bill for 2 people with drinks for brunch came to be...
Read moreExpensive, small quantity, only slightly above average quality food. Not good online ordering service. Our online order seemed to be fulfilled after in- person counter orders, even though online ordering was encouraged and we put in our online order before other customers had even arrived. We had a 45 minute wait for 2 sandwiches, a breakfast burrito and a salad. It possibly could have been ready earlier, but we didn't know because no one communicated to us at all. We had to keep going inside to check. All food items were on the small side. My 17 year old daughter who eats like a bird finished her chicken pesto sandwich in 5 minutes. Add 2 coffees and one kombucha -- pay $80+ for the privilege. Many things from our order were forgotten, like utensils to eat a salad, napkins, avocado on a breakfast burrito and 2 croissants. Had we not eaten on the premises, we would have really been disappointed and annoyed. With so many other places to eat, not sure if this place is...
Read moreI really want to like this place. The food is tasty, the employees are kind, and the atmosphere is great. But I had a gift card with over $30 remaining, and they told me it wouldn't scan properly or something. Maybe it's my fault for not escalating it to a manager, because I'm positive it still has value remaining, but I would hope that the cashier would have helped me with it without me having to push it to a supervisor. Also, I had a thick, curly white hair in my egg. Almost like a pube... but I was hungry, and white egg-pubes aren't enough to stop me from enjoying their stuff, which is really good regardless. I'll just have to go back with time to spare to work out the gift card issue, and hopefully they'll help me solve it. Will edit this appropriately, one...
