Wonderful! Santa Cruz mountain tasting room has lots of delicious wine and friendly staff. Tasting costs $20 but the fee is waived if you purchase 2 bottles of wine during your visit. The staff are friendly and very educational, we learned so much about each wine we tried. We ended up taking home 4 bottles to share with our family and friends for the holidays.

We had a great time at our tasting! Very tasty wines, fair pricing, and incredibly kind and considerate staff. We were the only ones in the tasting area and sitting outside in some chilly weather, so a heat lamp was brought out just for us to feel more comfortable. We’ll be back!

First, my knowledge of wine and winemaking is quite limited. Like most folks (I suspect) I know what I like, and am SLOWLY adding to my knowledge and appreciation. SCMW has been a great resource in that journey.

We became members of the wine club several years ago, and have gradually realized what a unique find SCMW is. We enjoy cooking and entertaining, and the wines we get, and more importantly, the knowledge we acquire from all the folks at SCMW (Jeff, Andrew, Will and everyone else) give that entertaining an invaluable additional dimension.

Stop in for a tasting, you'll leave impressed, and probably with a bottle or two of something...

When we arrived the outdoor seating was reserved. Since the party hadn't arrived yet our hostess graciously seated us there while waiting for their arrival. Thankfully for us, they never did arrive and we were able to enjoy our tasting menu during a very pleasant afternoon. Regarding the tasting - we thoroughly enjoyed every selection in the flight. Our server was very friendly, enthusiastic, attentive and incredibly knowledgeable. We appreciated learning about the background, location and harvesting of our tasting pours. The wines are reasonable priced with a nice selection of varietals not likely to be found at any...

Unfortunately we were there at our appointment and the person didn’t show up till 15 minutes later. When we tried to get her attention she just walked into the shop and locked the door. She called two and a half hours later to try to get us to come by. We drove 4 hours and this was one of the activities we wanted to do. Thankfully another winery was open and we spent $1000 dollars there....
