Just went to this GameStop and it’s awful. I don’t game as often as I used to because of school so I only get a couple games a year. This employee, Caroline, is getting on my case asking “Why did you let your membership expire?” like if a GameStop membership is the most important thing in my life. I respond “I don’t come here as often as I used to”, then they go back on my history saying “well you were here in June, and I see that you came a few months before that, why don’t you just renew?” I’m trying to keep my cool but the whole time I’m like I don’t want to renew I just want my game. After 10 mins of holding my game hostage and not taking no for an answer, they finally gave in and let me have my game. Seriously, Caroline, no means no, no matter what context it’s in. I have to go back in October because I paid off my COD game in full, but after this, I’m just going to Target or doing online shopping. I’m never renewing that membership and after I pick up CoD in October, I’m never going to GameStop again. Too bad there isn’t a survey on the receipt, had to settle for a google review.
