Wish I didnât have to give even one star to this pathetic excuse of a pharmacy. We have been using this Walgreensâs pharmacy for over 10 years, but the last couple of years it has been steadily going downhill fast. Ever since the pharmacist Michael left, it has been a chaotic hell hole. Shortened hours, understaffed, long lines inside the store and drive thru, rude inattentive staff, especially Daniel who loves to argue with customers every chance he gets, prescriptions not ready when you show up even after you get a message saying they are, then made to sit and wait after you have already been waiting in line for 30 minutes to an hour! I went to the pharmacy on Sunday September 24 to pick up a couple of my husbandâs prescriptions, that a message said was ready. I stood in line for an hour, no joke only to be told that they werenât ready yet. I had to sit for another 30 minutes and wait for the pharmacist to get them ready. They also had two lines going that day, one for vaccines the other for prescriptions. This made things so chaotic and the seating area was crowded with people waiting for vaccines. Just this past Sunday (October 1) I went in to pick up more prescriptions that we were told were ready and of course they werenât I was told after standing in line for 30 minutes. The kid that âhelpedâ me (if you want to call it that) was like a zombie. He told me my husbandâs pills wouldnât be in until the next day. I also had a prescription that I needed that day because I took the last pill that morning. I have this prescription on automatic refill and even called it in, and OF COURSE it wasnât ready. I was told by the zombie it wouldnât be ready until after 2pm. Why would we get a message saying these prescriptions were ready when he claimed they didnât even have them in stock until the next day?! So since my daughter would be on her way home from Albuquerque after 3pm I asked her to stop by and pick up my prescription. My poor daughter was there for and hour and a half waiting for my pills that they said would be ready after 2pm. She too waited in line for over a hour, only to be told to wait while they got it ready. She sat and waited over 20 minutes for a prescription that they said would be ready two hours prior. I felt so bad for her, but unfortunately I needed it because I took my last pill that morning. What the hell is going on here? What has happened to this pharmacy that it has spiraled so out of control over the past few years? Is it because itâs Santa Fe? Does Walgreens corporate even care? It sure as hell doesnât seem like it. My husband and I are now going through our health insurance plan to get our prescriptions mailed directly to us. No more Walgreens pharmacy BS, lies, incompetence, and rudeness. If you can switch to getting your prescriptions sent to your home I highly recommend it and highly recommend avoiding this Walgreens...
Read more(For the pharmacy) I know this is the busiest pharmacy location in Santa Fe and I know you guys are short staffed and I really feel for you guys I do as I too once ran the busiest location in SF, in a different field during the pandemic and we were the only ones open. I understand what you guys are going through and how hard it is dealing with customers while being so busy every single day. However, I can not have sympathy for you guys. As time and time again, you guys have dropped the ball due to YOUR own miscommunication issues. The biggest issue I see is that not one single person working in this pharmacy has compassion. After all the interactions my husband and I have had with you all for months now, so many mishaps on your end, and seeing other customers interactions, while waiting an hour in line each time, you guys just don't care. You guys don't know what you are ever talking about. It's a different story every single time we talk to you guys. One person says something different than the next. You guys are never on the same page. When you get called out on it, I see no empathy whatsoever. All I see from the pharmacy staff is that they truly do not care. I can't put it any other way. I think they wouldn't be this miserable if they would just show or even pretend they cared just a little. I think that if they were all on the same page and did not say different things each time you spoke to them, customers would be nicer to them. They would have better days. Customers would have better interactions. Staff wouldn't be quitting left and right because they cant take it anymore. There has to come a point where you have to provide quality, especially being that the quantity is just not there due to the circumstances of being short staffed. I do hope you guys get better because it's apparent you do work really hard, but it's seems that's all it is. Is a paycheck, and that's unfortunate for us consumers who relay on you guys. To provide bad quality over and over is just not okay in this type of field. To not care, in this field...
Read moreFirst attempt at pick up and i received some helpful info from the assistant and pharmacist which necessitated a change to the prescription. I called the vet to get a new rx called in and then I left. Afterward, I received a text that the rxs were ready. I returned for the second attempt and a new assistant (diana) gave me the old rx (first error). I explained this was the wrong rx. She disagreed and said they did not get another rx. (Second error). I told her it was changed to a different dosage and she told me they did have any of the different dosage (third error). I told her the other assistant told me they had 47 of them. She walked away then returned and said we got the other rx and you have to come back. When i asked if she expected me to come back a third time, she said yes. She offered no suggestions ( maybe something like âpull around and weâll do our best to get it filledâ or âsorry for the multiple errorsâ or any sort of apology. I said a simple âoops, sorryâ could make a big difference, she refused to say anything. The next assistant came back and said she gave all the right info âas far as she knewâ. This felt like such a big deal to NOT say Iâm sorry i messed up or sorry you have to come back three times⌠it didnât feel very nice. I say thank you and please and Iâm sorry all day long. Itâs not hard and can make a...
