This was our third stop on our Santa Paula "Passport 2 History" excursion. This museum is fantastic as they have a whole room with things for kids to do! And we're not just talking pressing buttons... They have a whole store set up where the kids can dress up, go shopping, put food in their carts, bring it to the check out, pay with play money... and more! There are toys, games, and many workstations where kids can play!
The rest of the museums has large tractors and stuff like that, and they even had a tractor and horse and buggy set up for kids to go on! You could definitely spend a lot of time here if you let your kid just play. There's an outdoors area too.
The gift shop was nice, but what I liked best is that they sell authentic, vintage citrus labels! The staff here was also wonderful and helpful. As good as some of the other museums we saw that day were... this was our favorite!

This museum is free on the first Sunday of every month so if you want to check it out, that is the day to go as there are usually events going on those days. The local beekeeping association meets here as well so you will find an observation hive which has bees in it year round. Last but not least, if you're looking for a cool place to go on a hot day in the summer, they have air conditioning so you can enjoy your time in comfort!
Overall this is a great museum and has constantly changing exhibits...

Gift shop on site with lots of cool stuff too. °°°°FUN FACT JUST LEARNED ON TRIP°°°° *Female bees are the ones that leave the hive to find nectar and pollen. *Males are drones in the hive...
