RUDE RUDE RUDE and FALSE ADVERTISING!! Been trying to use the app for last hour to upload 5 x 7 and 4 x 6 prints. The app is failing and constantly gives an error message. I chose the 24 hour service to minimize cost. Called to speak to store and got a narcissist named Jimmy who loves to hear himself talk!! He basically took zero responsibility for the app not working and consistently gave inaccurate pricing which did not match the website. When I tried to correct him, he continuously talked over me, was rude and argumentative. I explained that this is false advertising and even suggested he contact tech-support to fix the app. He took zero responsibility and said they have nothing to do with the app!!!! I’m sorry but the last time I checked the app or website of a store it was directly linked to the store!!! What do you mean you have nothing to do with the app? He was extremely combative and less than helpful! During a time when storefronts are shuttinf down right and left you would think customer service would be their number one priority! At this point, I am going to look elsewhere to create my prints. This store used to be very reputable however, clearly it has gone WAY downhill! Save your money, time and quality of prints and a potential argument with an angry lunatic and go on Shutterfly instead!! Even dealing with CVS is better...
Read moreGot charged three times for printing one roll of film. I originally paid 16.98 to print a black and white roll of film. When I went back to pick it up, he told me that I had only paid to get it developed, and owed an extra 14.17. I was pretty confident that I had paid in full, but not enough to challenge him too hard on it. Later I realized that the receipt had someone else's name on it with the same last name, and he had had me pay to print up someone else's film. At that point I probably should have gone back but thought it was too late. When I went in today to finally get my film they told me that prints actually cost 40 dollars, not 17, so I had to cover the difference. I would not have agreed to get it printed if I'd known it was 40. So overall I payed over 56 bucks for one roll of film when i originally thought it was 17 bucks, and 15 of that was to print up a different costumers roll who only wanted it developed. Usually I have a great experience with shutterbug and have been routinely going to them for the past 6 or so years for all my prints and film, but this whole experience was continuously frustrating and now I am not sure where to go to develop/print my film. I can't afford 56 bucks for a roll of prints even if it was an...
Read moreOverall, I have found my experience with the store great. I've rented lens in the past without issue. Recently, I required a lens and was informed that lens rentals are now through Gimbal and are through an app that Gimbal provides. The use of the app and process was fine. I originally planned to rent a lens for two full days. However, due to circumstances, I returned the lens shortly after the store opened. I asked the associate who was helping me about refunding me the day that I did not use it. The associate informed me that it would be handled through Gimbal and the app. I contacted Gimbal help via email. Well, Gimbal informed me that I had to speak with the store and that the store had to provide that to me. That's pretty frustrating to hear. After expressing my appreciation for the clarification as well as my frustration with the process, the Gimbal help sent me a follow up email to tell me that a partial refund was being provided. When I replied back to ask for clarification on why a partial and not full refund of the additional day, they said a possible reason was that it was due to "loss of potential reservations on the original scheduled days". I guess I will just not bring it back...
