The shops and restaurants are great! The concierge was a little difficult the last time I took my mom there. She needed the assistance of a mobility scooter which they available to use at no charge. I have utilized this service at other malls in the past with no problem. First of all, I was asked by the lady at the desk who would be using the scooter. When I let her know it was for my mom who was in the car, she let me know that we would need to stop by & have her sign a form. I went outside to get her from the car and, upon our return, was told we broke the rules by taking the scooter outside. Then, we were informed there was a 4 hour limit to use the scooter, but we could check back if we needed it for longer & they could extend it. So at the 3 hour mark, we checked back in & told her we were going to eat lunch & that would take about an hour. She said to check back with her after eating. As we walked by the corral of scooters, I noticed she still had 4 available. After lunch, we checked back in & were informed we could have it for an additional 2 hours tops. Something was said along the lines of needing them for people who really need them. Keep in mind, she still had 4 scooters in the corral. Needless to say, we were stressed trying to complete our shopping in the allocated time. Upon returning the scooter, there were still 4 in the corral. The comment made to me was "that was a lot of work, wasn't it?" It was a lot of work for me because of all that she put us through. Just wish it had been a little less stressful as it did...

Read moreI made a reservation a week in advance for Sunday evening at 7:45pm. we got there 20 minutes beforehand to get in line. We watched 745 come and go then we watched 8 o’clock come and go then we watched 815 come and go! All the while people in the standby line are going through faster than the appointment line. (mind you we paid $20 to reserve a 745 appointment.) We finally got our picture with Santa at 8:30 PM (if it ended here it may have been a neutral to only slightly sour experience) ….after the picture was taken, we were directed to another, EVEN LONGER line to pay for the prints. (All the standby folks that approached the Santa line AFTER we had gotten in line for OUR RESERVATION are now in FRONT of us.) By this time it’s 8:45p and we’ve been waiting for more than an hour. Judging by the length— of the line and the time it was taking to travel a few inches, this was sure to be another hour long (or more!) wait… by 9:15 we were still a good 45 mins away from the checkout. I had to call it! We traveled an hour from North Port bc this experience is rated well. I’m here to tell you to save your time and money! We basically donated our $20 “reservation fee” (which the “reservation” was a complete JOKE anyway!) waited almost TWO hours and left...
