I have been coming to this location inside of UTC Mall for 3 1/2 years. When I first started coming here around Christmas of 2020 The prices were extremely reasonable, the ingredients were fresh and the restaurant was busy all of the time! We are talking a 30 to 40 minute wait just to get your food. Since this time I have seen more turnover than you could imagine. We are talking 7 or 8 different managers in this period of time, not to mention countless other employees that have come and gone, only a few have managed to stick around. In the past few weeks, I have stopped in here to get either a small side, salad, and or a basic cheese pizza or cheesy sticks because only the basics because prices have gone through the roof! They are now charging a Dollar just to have marinara sauce with your “breadsticks“!!!! This is unbelievable you mean you would not include this in the price of your cheesy breadsticks or whatever they are called? If you want cheese on your salad or on your pizza it is an additional $2.60 for literally a small handful of shredded cheese in your hand!!! Are you kidding me??? Even the salads are so awful like the one I had today I couldn’t eat it. The lettuce is wilted the tomatoes and onions don’t taste right! This is a poorly run company a poorly managed location and I would strongly recommend going anywhere else other than here! For the price of one of their Small personal size pizzas, you could get a pizza that would serve 6 people from Papa John’s, Pizza Hut or anywhere else. And I should mention that the pizzas are now about 20% smaller than what they were three years ago! Yep they are charging $3 - $5 dollars more for them! And don’t believe the sign that talks about building your own pizza for a certain price. Everything here is à la cart and you will pay extra for I...
Read moreRise Pies at The Mall at University Town Center are totally over-rated with marginal quality food. The pepperoni had no taste, and the other meats in my opinion are low quality. All of my family's drinks were watered down. That is a cheap way of saving money. The customer service is poor where they lack personality, and all they care about is to get you out of there restaurant near closing time. Rise Pies policy is that an hour before closing, they close off the seating area. What restaurant does that? I have never seen this before. There were several families like mine sitting outside the restaurant finding small tables to eat on. It is ridiculous that we came to eat in the restaurant and we could not. They stack up stairs to block the people from entering while creating a liability issue with people trying to get out. They stack up the chairs around the people who are still eating in the seating area - that is very unprofessional. There are so many more authentic Italian pizza restaurants in the area therefore don't waste your time going...
Read moreSo this is one of the best Rise Pies I have been to! I have a gluten allergy which I know is never an easy thing for the staff to accommodate here since it requires extra steps. Jailyn (not sure on spelling) was awesome he took my order and instead of just passing it down the line made sure he was the only one to touch my pizza with the toppings. I know it may have held the line up a little bit but it really allowed me to know my food was being properly cared for. Adam who was the manager was very friendly and I told him I couldn't wait to write a review with how happy I was with the service. I love Rise Pies they have not made me sick like some other restaurants have. I highly recommend this one and I can't wait til I can come back and have another Pizza. Thank you Jailyn I know you may have just been doing your job but to me it meant the world knowing someone cared enough for me and my food and took that extra step to make sure I wasn't going to have any cross...
