Satellite Beach Public Library — Attraction in Satellite Beach

I love this library! The employees are absolute legends.They are knowledgeable, helpful and remember my name and can pull me up without me even having to show my card. My kids absolutely love going to the kid's section for the books, coloring and games. They also do wonderful programs like Lego building, book readings and reading to a dog. The location is wonderful too as it is right by a lovely playground and so easy to bike to from your house. They also recently (2023) did a renovation to their bathrooms and outside building. The library is located in a neighborhood park setting with massive parking. There are plenty of individual seating cubicles with power outlets with semi comfortable chairs. They have public computers and several study rooms for privacy. The library is very quiet at least that's been my experience. I'd say the only downside is the angry employees, at least that's how they look to me. They just have that glazed zombie look of most county employee's. Cheer up you get paid to hang out.
