UPDATE SEE BELOW. Inconsiderate people. Rude. See my update.
Great park. Clean Not many little dogs. Thank you so much for fixing the gaps on the gates. My little ones were always trying to escape . Thank you for taking the time . Very considerate.
Sadly today I was yelled out and told to mot come back because my dogs bark too much. I explain to the gentleman that was swearing and yelling at me that I came early to meet a lady that was helping me. She had a big dog and her friend had two. My pups okay with them and are learning that big dogs are ok. They stopped barking. He just kept telling me that I just sit on my ass and read my book and dont try to get them to stop. They do stop when another dog comes and plays with them. I tried to talk to him but he was rude. I didn't realize that dogs couldn't bark at the dog park. The other day they were playing nicely with the ladys dogs while I was pulling sandspurs out of the ground helping the park. I wont be going bAck. I was bullied and attacked. I don’t understand why people have to be so mean. No one ever came and spoke to me about this. They just complained. If someone spoke to me , I am a reasonable person . There are no little dogs for them to play with. The big dog people never made us feel welcome. One lady of the crew was nice ,
UPDATE spoke to the satellite beach rec center. The rules are your dog cannot bark excessively. However, they don’t have any rules about people use vulgar language and bullying I will not be going to the park anymore with my eight month old Yorky puppies. However, the gentleman who swore at me and yelled at me, bullied me, will be able to go to the park, there is no rules against that unless he starts barking of course then he can’t go.

Read moreFirst my GPS took me to the south entrance to the library and there aren't any signs for the dog park or how to get there. Then going to the only north entrance it's closed. Parking is very inconvenient as it'sa good 75 yards to the actual gate to get in. I have a bad back and hip with two labs that are excited to go to the park it's hard having to walk them that distance. When I got to the gate an elderly lady was locking it. I asked is the park closed? Yes it'll open again at 4:30 ma'am. Ma'am? She's got at least 15 years on me and she's calling me ma'am? And the park is closed more than it's open. When I finally got to go when it was open and after the hike getting to the gate there was a guy sitting in a booth said good morning. .. that was nice. Then when I'm going into the gated area he asks if I've been there before. .no. .. well you have to have your dogs records with you and checked before you can go in. There could have been something posted reveling that before I had my back wrenched out of place and the guy in the booth could have asked before I'd gotten half way in the gate and my dogs tugging even harder to go. We've just moved here all if our things are in storage including the dogs records. I've never had to provide them anywhere before not to mention I don't carry them with me anyway it's like I don't carry my marriage or birth...
Read moreTried to bring my Dalmatians to the park this morning but the demeanor of the lady working the hut was rude and made us feel very unwelcomed because the younger one started barking and she stated we shouldn’t be there at that time because of her barking? I had purchased a pass for both of them months back and have been going there for the 20 years that I’ve had fur babies. I decided to bring them to the new dog park in Melbourne and there were no issues. As you can see here are pictures of the Melbourne dog park (which is free and much much bigger with a splash pad) with my Dalmatians having a great time and are obviously well tempered based on the photos with other pups. Won’t be returning to the satellite beach dog park for a while which is unfortunate since we live just a few...
