I have been a customer for 20+ years. My 1st purchase I made when we moved to Savannah was at Farmerâs Furniture. The store manager, then, Mr. Smith, now retired, made me want to come back and continue to purchase from them. My latest purchase was a dinning room table. The table started to get bubbles and looked horrible. I called the store to let them know and it took a lot of calls for them to send a contractor to look at the table. This was back in May. 3 months later, they said the table couldnât be fixed. I had to go into the store to pick an other table. I didnât see anything I liked. I felt like I was bothering the manager. The salesperson was doing her job but later I can hear it in her voice that she too was bothered. I ended up having to get the same set. They said I was going to receive a new table and chairs. About 3 weeks later the delivery man said he was on the way to deliver a table but no chairs. I told him to take it back. I had to call the corporate office and they were able to send me the new set. They were supposed to deliver it on my day off. No one called me to tell me they were not coming. They delivered it the next day and I had all the chairs on my porch to speed up the process. I had to come home from work to meet them at my home. The delivery men showed up with no tools. They had to manually take the old table apart. I had to bring in the new chairs myself because they were taking their sweet time. I didnât let them open the box with the new table because I had to get to work! Plus with no tools they would have taken so long! Needless to say, that was my last purchase with them. Iâve always thought Rooms To Go was over priced but they have provided me with a credit card and Iâve already made my first purchase with them. If Mr. Smith was still there⌠this would have never happened to me! I feel they do no value their customers!!!...
   Read moreThe initial experience was fine. Sales person was personable and not pushy. Only had to wait two weeks for items, so I was happy with that, as well. However, once the items arrived, it was clear there was a problem. Delivery is awful since they donât tell you the time window theyâll be there until the day of delivery (wasted Saturday). The day the couch was delivered I reported the following problems: The couch was poorly made and the fabric was pulled in a way that rolled the fabric and made ripples and indentations in the sides (very visible) and the stuffing was coming out of the sofa because the fabric wasnât attached well on the inside. The ottoman came with stains on it. It took them two weeks to deliver another ottoman (another Saturday wasted), and they were trying to send a company to come fix the couch, but asking me to work around the companyâs schedule to have it fixed. They donât work past 5 and they give a large window for delivery on Saturday. So either I leave work early to have it done or waste another Saturday. I shouldnât have to do so much because their merchandise is sub-par. New items shouldnât be delivered in poor condition.    Read moreI purchases just a sofa which cost 2,000.I had a warranty on the sofa .I noticed after the furniture was delivered & setup in my home the middle section of the sofa seemed to be sitting lower than the sides .I called they sent a furniture guy out to checkout the sofa & he stated that it needed more cushion on the cushion of the chair.This went on for months .Eventually I stop making payments. The furniture guy came out again 5 months later by the way his name was Michael Angelo .He stated that the furniture was in excellent condition .I was never satisfied. They ended up closing out my account .Why would I continue to pay for broken furniture. Long story short I went to Rooms To Go & purchased me a 3 pice leather not faux leather for well over $4,000 with approved credit .When the rooms to go delivery guy moved the Sofa that I purchased from Farmers Furniture he stated that the frame of the sofa was broken .Corporate failed me as a customer .What was the purpose of a warranty when nothing was fixed .Please do your research when purchasing anything from...
