One of the best Indian store and food delivery places in the Schaumburg area, fresh cooked food and sweets, and what to talk about masala Chai tea, I know you have Patel brother near you all, but when you’re ever going to get greeted by fantastic, awesome family friendly staff and Owner themselves, never in millions years until you work at Patel brothers, even so I don’t know you will be able to meet the owner, but here at Star Food you always get greeted with warm welcome like family, you get respected by the new sincere and friendly staff, they are willing to help you personally find things, takes care of your need as their own, so professional service, and this is coming from a person coming all the way over from MI, if I happened to be in the area I make a point to stop by for freshly made food and sweets with the warmth of friendly service, highly highly recommended for your needs, and if you are people person who values them self and kind of service they want. My last review was few months back - below. Recently, I was there on June 1st (around 3:45PM) and I witnessed a gross behavior from a customer that made me cringe. A customer while checking out, reached over the counter in an open container of sweet and helped himself to some sweet with his bare hands. Having bought food from here in the past (including the one this customer blatantly contaminated) made me feel disgusted and question the store hygiene. Cashier was standing right there and she didn't stop the guy (not sure if she saw him). None the less, why was the container open? Why was there no sign saying ask for help if they want a sample? Besides the fact that some folks they are entitled, I believe it is store owner's and representatives responsibility to maintain the standard, specially when it's related to food. I doubt that I will visit the store again, at least not in near future. Per my last review, staff is very friendly & food is good, but the unhygienic issue trumps it all.
