The owner is a coward. My wife went to Dekker to purchase a specific wall switch for operating a fan and its lights, providing a model number she received from the manufacturer. Instead of ordering the switch she asked for, he sold her a different switch that he claimed would work. I installed the switch, but it would not operate the fan. After calling the manufacturer, I was informed that he had sold us an incompatible switch. A couple of days later, I returned the switch. While an employee was processing the return and apologizing for my time having been wasted by his misguidance, he sat nearby and let her take responsibility for his error without apologizing himself.
Twenty years ago, this owner took used light fixtures out of his showroom instead of providing the new fixtures we purchased. He did not take responsibility then. Once a coward, always an ungrateful coward.
I purchased the correct switch elsewhere, as I will all future lighting products.

I had picked out 2 lights for over my kitchen island and another for my dining area. My builder had got in touch with Karen about a question I had in regards to the gold on the lights and if that could be changed out. We were told Yes, that can be changed out. At closing, it states in my paperwork that the pieces were on backorder and Dekker was made aware that they still owed us those. After waiting for some time we notified Karen at Dekker to see about the replacement pieces and were told she had no idea what we were talking about and she was not doing anything about the situation. Her reply was only "paint them", which I contacted the manufacturer about and was told to not paint any thing!    Read moreI bought this beautiful chandelier from Decker Lighting and I LOVE it. Not only did they have the item I was looking for, but their selection was vast, and the prices were excellent. I had an amazing experience with this company. The customer service was outstanding, and the product was exactly what I was looking for. When it came time to install the chandelier we had a slight issue with a part. Justin and Alec brought the part to our home after hours and even installed it because we rented scaffolding and it needed to be returned or we would be charged a second day as well as pay the installer to come back again. They said they wanted to “make it right”. Wow, you hardly ever hear that anymore. Good customer service is hard to come by these days but I assure you that you will find it at Decker Lighting.
