Possibly the rudest, most condescending staff I've experienced. My membership is expiring soon and I will not be restarting one - the equipment at other gyms is far better, especially for what you pay.
A majority of the older ladies working at reception soil most visits to this club (a dirty blond woman named teresa and a black curly headed women named heather i beleive, and isabel).
A lot of the younger staff are always kind and respectful at the cafe and reception, but I cant say the same for the many other receptionists and tennis instructors.
Liberty has never felt like a place Ive been welcomed into. Ive been charged so many times for items and court times I've never used, sometimes just for walking into the club with a tennis bag. I used to book a lot of court times with me and my colleges here too, but I choose to participate in another club when I simply walked in with my bag once, and was bombarded a staff member already reaching to her computer to book a court time for me, when it was really just the bag I use to keep my cloths and water in. Another grope I have is that most the guys here treat the club like a nude beach, openly stripping infront of kids while sparking conversations with them. Sure that something the club cant control, but when its instructors here it sparks concern.
Im disappointed to have invested so much money into this club, only to be treated like fool and spoken to like an idiot, so I'm writing this to advise you not to make the same...
Read moreWe've just returned after a 5 year break, we had to join as new members. But the great thing is that 4 personal training sessions were included, a family pass for friends, a spa coupon for a free massage, and many others.
I love the energy of the place and that there are people of ALL ages, babies to very seasoned, and everyone in the middle. I've started in the "oldies classes" with Joan and she is beyond inspirational and teaches so well, I always can follow, and she constantly reminds us of form and proper position. Our Personal Trainer, Brian, is also SO knowledgeable and we are learning the basics of proper posture and alignment, and how to use the machines correctly.
All of our staff interactions have been kind and professional. The club is totally worth the fee and monthly cost, and you get so many classes from which to choose. So much better than spending the same fee for just one yoga class somewhere else. If I can't make one timeslot , there is another one I can do, or use my personal exercise plan.
The physical property is well maintained and clean. The outdoor pools for laps and the other pool for kids are safe with life guards. Our kids loved hanging out and playing basketball. It was just great for them to be in a safe environment with no access to TVs, just physical playing.

Read moreGood club, great tennis courts, huge gym area, b-ball court, several indoor/outdoor pools - one indoor pool adult only. Two small waterparks indoor and out - huge slides. Free childcare and a kids' activity center to rival any with huge brand new climbing structure. The rock climbing wall is one of my children's favorites.
Outdoors can get crowded in summer so get in early but there are always loungers available in grassy areas, the poolside ones get taken pretty early. Indoor/outdoor cafés are good and women's lockers huge and modern, good showers. Like the towel service. Dislike: indoor courts too warm in summer, food prices are a bit steep but you can bring your own picnic for outdoors. Other than that it's a good value for families who use it often because you don't need to go anywhere else for a huge variety of activities. We pretty much live here for the summer and then use it fairly often during the...
