I was introduced to Starkid through the "recommended for you" videos on youtube. I was watching some harry potter video when the recommendation to watch "A Very Potter Musical" popped up. I was like: What is this? So I clicked on it and I was in tears I was laughing so hard! I got very excited when I saw there was a sequel. It was already late so I told myself I would watch it tomorrow. I did and then I checked out their channel. I was hooked. I wanted more starkid stuff so I searched to see if they had a website. They did! Which leads me to the ann arbor t-shirt company. I scrolled through all of the merchandise and was thinking to myself: "I want this and this and this and this......" I literally wanted everything on the website. Sadly, I couldn't have it all. I still want it all, and it doesn't help that they keep adding more (although it all looks really great)! Well my birthday came up and as usual my family asked what I wanted. I didn't ask for anything non-starkid related. Literally! I got most of what I wanted. Recently I made an order and it just came in today. And also I have bought almost all of their music on iTunes! I can't help it! Their music is so catchy and perfect for a little, nerdy, fangirl like me! As of today I have the Rumbleroars's Army shirt, the Keep calm I'm a Starship Ranger shirt, the Keep Calm It's Gonna Be Totally Awesome shirt, the AVPSY class shirt, the Dark Mark shoes, Starship on DVD, the Apocalyptour lanyard, and the Leaky Con USB bracelet. All of them came in on a reasonable date. I have had really great service from them and would recommend the website to any starkid or even non-starkid fans. The merchandise is very good quality and the perfect essential for a loyal fan. Ann Arbor t-shirt company even has other merchandise other than Starkid that I would love to have. I love all of my merchandise and want my collection to grow. I will definitely shop here in...
Read moreI am frankly disspointed. I realize that their product is fine, but who makes that product? The workers. The reason im disspointed is because back when this was a smaller business they valued their employees. It wasn't just a body showing up and doing the job. Recent managers ask for faster work and ending up with shoddy work at best. Then penalize the worker for doing what was asked of them, and even warning them of the consequences of minimizing time but making the quality of the job a lesser priority. It was a flexible company that realized that happy workers were hard workers. So many folks have left or been pushed out my managers who ask for so much without realizing that the workers are only human. Or even worse, demeaning the worker by scrutinize the job they do by insisting that they could do a better job, without any experience doing it. I am disspointed because I am a customer who knows these employees and I care more for them than their bosses do. It's become a corporate machine where all that matters is profits and not the quality of the work or the workplace environment. I'm disspointed because this company was wonderful and the employees were kind, happy folks who did a job and we're proud of their work but slowly the job is becoming something they dread doing. Take care of your people. Do the right thing. Everyone has bills and no one's wants to think of their job as an...
Read moreI came in looking to purchase clothing and pay for art/ screen printing. The last time I ordered shirts from here, it was a simple process and the staff was excited to do the work. I guess things have really changed over the years and they are only concerned about U of M orders now because when I came in today they told me to use the online tool. I work in sales. If my team turned down cash in hand to a repeat customer, they would be looking for a new job. The sales team was very standoffish and didn't bother to stop what they were doing or come out from behind their computers. I immediately felt like I was burdening them and that they did not want to do business with me. The interaction made me leave feeling stupid and embarrassed for trying to hand over hundreds of my hard earned money. So I went to Underground Printing on Main st, where I was greeted by the Sales Manager. He showed me the various options they offer and I ended up doubling my order. To the owner of Ann Arbor T Shirt Company, your sales team needs training or replacing. This experience was totally unprofessional and cost you a loyal customer. Take some notes from Underground Printing. I will be doing business with them going...
