I would leave zero stars if I could! Renters beware of this company they do not care about nothing but the bottom line and refused to waive a late fee of a instrument that was supposed to be rented for a few months but in their system was 9 months. Instrument was RETURNED end of school year and no one said a word About late fees. Rented from them a few years later for a drum kit paid for new rental online but they wouldn’t release new rental items because of “past due balance” spoke to numerous people and everyone down to the sarcastic store manager and no one couldn’t seem to understand the mix up in initial rental agreement and she pretty much tried to chastise me like a child about how to rent an instrument. So they’ve rented this instrument im sure 4 to 5 times since we returned it and hand no empathy and REFUSED to waive this fee. So I will never give them another dime. I will go on your website see what my kid needs and rent it from somewhere else or order it cheaper off line. I’ve been meaning to leave this review of this experience. Luckily my child’s school had extra drum kit items and the teacher was empathetic enough to understand the situation and allowed her to use them for the...
Read moreOkay so when a customer calls and says I need servicing of instruments that you don't handle you say we can have it done when I ask if it's done in house response was yes. It's a mobile service. If you need your instrument serviced there goung to send it to the Music den in Randolph there prices are 100 to 200 less. They also do rentals. When someone asks a direct question and your direct response changes its called not being honest. Be transparent with people it won't make you look dishonest. And if you lie about something so silly it makes me worry about buying from you. I hope this helps others from loosing money. I use to own a Mechanic shop if I couldn't do it I would refer you to someone who could I didn't sublet work out. That's a shop saying it's 1700 for your transmission and charging the customer 3800 because that's going rate. You dont do do that. But your...
Read moreI brought my vintage Buescher baritone saxophone in for a repair estimate after being told by a very well-known brass and woodwind shop that it was not worth repairing. My horn was unplayable when I brought it in, and a music educator friend of mine highly suggested I get a second opinion at Elefante. I am thrilled to report that Elefante successfully did a small handful of repairs (3-5 pads replaced & reseated, new key corks, key regulation & adjustment, oiling, and cleaning) for under $100 and my saxophone sounds like a brand new horn. I had my horn back within a week of dropping it off and I could not be happier. Before you drop a few thousand dollars on a new horn, take the trip to Elefante and see if they can help. The store is clean and the staff is incredibly friendly as well. I will absolutely be utilizing their repair services as needed...
