My kids enjoy coin collecting with their grandmother and on more than one occasion we have taken a visit to Stone House Coin Shop. My 10 year old son called prior to our visit to make sure they had exactly what he was looking for and when we came in the owners treated him as they would any other respectable coin collecting adult. They took his questions very seriously and were very encouraging to my tiny coin collectors. While I myself don’t know much about coin collections, it is clear the owners here are not only extremely knowledgeable about this past time but also value it’s future. We have visited a few times and each time we leave my kids take away a deeper love and fascination of coin collecting. It is no wonder this shop is approaching their 50 year anniversary!! Great shop, great experience!!! Thank you for deepening a hobby my kids and their grandmother cherish together dearly!

I had a box of old coins from my dad and 3 generations of silverware and silver accessories. Lou, Rich and John were very patient with all of my items. They sorted out every coin and sorted through 8 boxes of silver. The silver pieces like candle sticks were weighted with cement and they carefully removed the sterling silver. After about 3 hours, I walked out a with a check that exceeded my expectations but more importantly learned a tremendous amount about rare coins and the difference between sterling and sterling plate. I highly recommend if you are a novice or an expert in coins and precious metals, these guys are the best.

My father left us a silver bar and a number of silver and gold coins. I knew these would be worth something but I didn't realize they would be worth a five-figure amount. I had gone to another coin shop first for a quote, before going to Stone House. Stone House beat the offer from the other shop by about $2,000. I was really, really impressed with their honesty and great service. I'll definitely be back when I have more gold or silver items to sell. Easy 5 stars.

This shop is more than coins...bring your silver and gold jewelry, that you're no longer wearing (we all have it), to Rich for a fair and honest price! This small business is a hidden gem. I walked in not knowing what to expect and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Rich and his family have been at this location for 50 successful years. He is the kindest, most patient and pleasant business owner I've ever met. Very trustworthy! We chatted over my small box of silver jewelry and a pair of gold cuff links. He wrote me a check for $340. If you're reading this Rich, I was right...the cuff links were a gift to my husband from his first wife...on their wedding day lol! This shop has an incredible amount of history in it...amazing coins...which come with these one in a million salespeople to assist and educate you on your coin collection or soon to be built coin collection. Everything is displayed beautifully... the shop is visibly organized. Making great meaningful gift ideas for all occasions. I highly recommend you stop by...bring your children and check out this very interesting coin and much more shop. I will be...

I had the pleasure of visiting this wonderful coin shop with my 7-year-old son and I couldn't have been more impressed! The shop owners were incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked through the door. What truly impressed me, however, was the way they treated my son. Despite his young age and limited knowledge of coin collecting, they treated him with the same respect and attention they would any avid adult collector. They took the time to explain different coins, their history, and made our visit educational, informative and fun for him. He left the shop with a newfound love and appreciation for coin collecting, and it's all thanks to the wonderful experience we had at Stone House. Overall, I cannot recommend this coin shop enough. Rich and Lou truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and valued, and their passion for it was infectious. If you're looking for a coin shop with exceptional service this is the place to go! We will...

Although I didn't have the Antiques Roadshow treasure moment I had hoped for, I had an great experience at this coin shop. Both Lou and Rich are friendly and knowledgeable. Lou appraised all of my coins promptly and was polite when pointing out coins of lesser value, unlike another shop I went to.They both took a great deal of time with me and when I was speaking with Rich about my sentimental attachment to some of the coins I had brought in , he actually looked through them and encouraged me to keep the best one and suggested if I sold the sterling silver flatware, to keep one place setting a keepsake. At one point I overheard him calmly, and in detail, explain to another customer why his set of coins was not as valuable as the seller had anticipated. It's clear that both Lou and Rich are passionate about what they do and eager to share their knowledge with customers. Rich was even kind enough to let one customer know that he would get ticketed if he remained parked...
