I loved the June 2022 Legally Blonde performance. Kudos on the choreography, costumes, set decor & story line of the musical. I also love the historical aspect of the theatre. My only constructive criticism is that the theatre please needs to improve the sound system. Sometimes, the music/speakers drowned out the singing and speaking performances of the cast. Other times the cast microphones went in and out, which made it difficult to hear everything. I sat in the fourth row from the stage. I am sure it was even more challenging to hear rows behind near the back and on the second tier of the theatre. I am absolutely looking forward to coming back in the future. Everyone's hard work and dedication to the musical deserves a five star review....
Read moreI’ve been to see several shows at the Geyer over the years and each time I walk out of the theatre thoroughly impressed. The actors are incredibly talented, and the sets and props are always mind blowing. Most recently at the Geyer I saw Part One of Angels in America and was moved to tears several times at the performances. As a lesbian it’s very important to me to support local productions of shows with LGBT themes, and I hope the Geyer continues to produce shows like this!
