Keep the omelet and the side of attitude and learn how to cook and hone your customer service skills. My son and I stopped in for breakfast the other day and were served undercooked hashbrowns, butterless toast and the worst omelet I've ever seen. It looked like an untrained cook hard scrambled some eggs, left it sit out all day and threw a few pieces of gam and a slice of cheese on it and rolled it into a crepe. It was rubbery and flavorless. When we checked out one of our 3 servers asked how it was and when I expressed our disappointment I immediately received an attitude, not an apology or any probing questions as to why we were disappointed, just a nasty attitude of indifference. Scottsboro seriously lacks a decent breakfast place and since we live here were hoping that Gear Jammers could be our breakfast go-to spot, but we were wrong to have such high hopes. Read moreTraveling across North Alabama and we were ready for breakfast. Definitely not in the mood for fast food so we looked up restaurants and found this great little place. The service was good. Food was clean and fresh and served quickly. We had veggie omelet and eggs with biscuit and gravy, hash brown’s and toast. The gravy is the only thing i would improve on but it wasn’t terrible and Everything else was really good. It was a nice choice and experience and we love supporting small business. The price was less than $20 for 2 plates which is good. The bathrooms were clean and we’ll definitely be stopping here when traveling through...
Read moreThe services was awesome, and some of the food was good. But when paying for what little bit we got, I felt like I had been raped. Meaning I ended up paying 46 00 for the food. 1 plate was only 2 biscuits with gravy, a baby had 1 sausage patty and 1 egg, the plate I had was suppose to be 2 scrambled eggs, tenderloin, a biscuit, hash browns with ham and cheese and a side of gravy. The gravy wasn't all that good. I think the best part of the meal was the tenderloin. But the price was way way too much for that little bit of food. It was like 9.00 for the egg and sausage patty for a baby. Really? I will never...
