The Scottsdale Resort and Spa, Curio Collection by Hilton recently completed renovations and it is gorgeous. I visited the spa while in Scottsdale, but not as a guest of the hotel. You should plan to spend the whole day enjoying the spa and all of the amenities. I arrived early to take advantage of the Fitness by Curio workout room. They have EVERYTHING. New and updated equipment: Elliptical, treadmills, bikes, rowing machines, free weights, weight machines, cable systems, and Theraguns. Make sure you give yourself ample time to enjoy the relaxation room or the zen garden. Or both! The zen garden also has a plunge tub available for cooling down in the desert heat. After the massage, I was able to enjoy the serenity of the pool with easy access to the water from all sides, including zero entry access in the shallow end. There were ample loungers and umbrellas and fresh towels. There was a poolside bar and bathrooms available without leaving the pool deck. Finally, I returned to the spa to shower and change before departure. I can not say enough about how pleased with my experience. Mike and Brad in Valet were helpful assisting me with storing my suitcase while I enjoyed my experience since I was departing to the airport from the resort. Jade at the front desk was very helpful and gave me guidance to both the Spa and the Fitness Room so I did not get lost. Emily at the front desk in the Spa was FaNtAsTiC. Warm greeting, tour of the Spa, helpful tips to find my way around and how to remember how to get in and out of my locker. She also walked me to the pool. Her warm demeanor and genuine conversation made me feel welcome and valued. My 80-minute Moonlight Massage with Natasha was just what I needed. She made sure the music was just right, the pressure was not too light or too hard. I was totally rejuvenated after...
Read moreAs a spa owner in Toronto, I have the privilege of experiencing treatments around the world in search of innovation and excellence. My recent facial with Marwa at Luna Spa in Scottsdale was, without question, one of the most extraordinary treatments I’ve ever had.
From the moment I stepped into her care, Marwa exuded a sense of calm and mastery that instantly set her apart. Her technique is refined yet intuitive, blending deep knowledge with a luxurious, healing touch that left me feeling completely transformed. My skin not only looked radiant but felt revitalized in a way that is rare to achieve in a single session.
Equally impressive, Marwa introduced me to Luna Spa’s organic Eminence line — and I was so captivated that I will be bringing Eminence into my own spa in Toronto. The scents and textures are sumptuous, luxurious, and results-driven, making them a perfect complement to the level of care I strive to deliver to my own clients.
If you are in Scottsdale, do not miss the opportunity to experience Marwa’s artistry. She is, quite simply, next...
Read moreThe Luna spa was aesthetically pleasing, and the staff was kind. I chose to do the fire and ice massage while there, and it was simply okay. There were very few “fire and ice” elements during the massage. I was a little disappointed with the service I chose, especially for price. In addition, my friend received the prenatal massage. She’s six months pregnant, and she had to lay on her side with no pillow/cushion. (Typically there is usually a body pillow or you are sitting up). She expressed that she felt like she was going to fall off the table. Upon check out, the staff did speak with her, and were of assistance. Overall, it wasn’t the worst, but it certainly was not...
