The Nail Spa - Scottsdale — Attraction in Scottsdale

DO NOT GO HERE! OWNER IS UNPROFESSIONAL! I went in to get a pedicure with Kevin and he ended up cutting the side of my foot with the exfoliating tool used to remove dry skin! He did not acknowledge anything happened and when I put my foot back in hot water it was burning. I mentioned it to him again but he just continued to finish pedicure and put color on my nails. I called after I left and spoke with Scott the owner who said to stop in the next morning. When I did he made sure to walk outside so customers could not hear or see what happened. I told him I wanted a refund and he proceeded to tell me he would just give me $5 in cash!! There was no apology from him either. I called back a couple hours later and said $5 is not acceptable for cutting my skin and I want a full refund and he said he was not going to give me a refund that the $5 discount was all I was going to get. I will never step foot in this place again and I advise anyone else to think twice before going there because of the bad customer service and lack of accountability on their part. I chose this salon based on the reviews - I was not scheduled with anyone specific however I I received my services from Scott - my pedicure was great - don’t really feel like I received much of a massage tho... just a few squeezes here and there and the hot stone rub was very quick mostly on my shins - he convinced me to try dip on my fingernails and I expressed my concerns of it being too thick as I keep my nails short - didn’t perform any of the manicure - didn’t soak my nails - didn’t apply cuticle solution - didn’t trim my cuticles and dead skin - straight to the dip - tore my skin up during the buffing and filing with the drill - I now have several raw sore areas around my cuticle nail area - I advised I felt the dip was very thick and lumpy on the sides and corners - he stated if he drills anymore there won’t be any color left - of course I was charged for a full manicure with dip smh - very disappointed and will not be returning - the color is great tho it’s my fav so I love it. The salon was pretty clean however the towel at the mani station was wet and dirty - he didn’t have on gloves during the process - did not ask me to wash my hands before he began using his tools and...

I found a Master at work! It's really hard to find someone who knows how to do nails that are all gel. I had been getting gel nails for almost 20 years so I know how many people claim to know what they are doing but do not. Dealing poker for a living made it a requirement to have beautiful nails! Since semi-retirement and moving to Arizona from San Diego I gave up getting my nails done. Today I decided to make it my mission to find a true artist, Scott is so amazing I had a full set done and oh my goodness I could not be happier. Do yourself a favor and see the difference. Gel nails (without any acrylic) last longer look so natural and can take lots of abuse without breaking. The thing is very, very few know how to apply it properly to get awesome results. It takes commitment time and natural talent. I feel super blessed to have found Scott he definitely knows what he is doing. My nails turned out perfect.
