Chinook Beach Park — Attraction in Seattle

It's just a ribbon of a beach, but it's rare public access along the lake. Make your way down a steep bank to the water's edge. There is virtually no beach here, unless it's late summer and the water's low. If you're willing to get your feet wet, you could make your way for 100+ yards along the shoreline before you reached private property. Rocky shores but warm, peaceful waters. Fish hooks arent too uncommon for me to see in the rocks so be cautious with your feet and any pets. My dog and I love this spot because its got plenty of parking, is peaceful, has a good amount of shade + sun, and the water is warm like a bath. This is a very special place on Lake Washington the dead trees are left in the water to attract salmon spawning. It is a very small beach that has access from driveway.
