CoCo & Company Hair Salon — Attraction in Seattle

I cannot recommend this salon highly enough. For a little background, I am a single mom whose only splurge is her hair. I recently moved from LA where I was completely spoiled with movie star quality salons. I was nervous I would not be able to find anyone that could make my frizzy dishwater blond mop feel manageable... and dare I say, attractive.

After doing lots of homework all roads led back to Coco & Co salon and specifically to its owner, Antonio. I feverishly worked to book an appointment and I knew I was in expert hands before even sitting in the chair. Antonio did something no previous LA hairstylist had, he asked about my day to day and what I was really looking for from my hair cut weeks after I left the chair. It blew my mind! It felt so easy admitting things I've known about myself for years: I don't know how to style my own hair, I barely have time to brush it, I maybe had a blowdryer at some point.. and a ponytail is perhaps the norm 3 days a week.

Antonio LISTENED and he used my own day to day reality to give me THE PERFECT haircut and style, for ME. Antonio gently helped me understand that some of the inspiration photos I brought in... would put me a little over my skis (IE: need a round brush, wouldn't fit in a ponytail, would drown out my skin). He also helped me realize that I wasn't too old for other looks and should embrace framing my face, etc. Probably the most amazing thing about Antonio is that he showed me exactly how the hair would grow between cuts and how I could move the part to get more fun looks ... meaning the cut would still be fresh the entire time between cuts.

No salon in LA has ever left me feeling as good about myself MONTHS after a hair cut. Antonio lived up to all his positive online reviews and I must agree, he really is a hair genius. I recommend you not only go to him, but you commit and trust fall into his advice. Updated review since COVID lockdown from my appointment earlier today on 7/12: I was finally able to see my favorite Antonio for highlights since COVID lockdown. I was so excited to come in as Antonio does a fabulous job and since lockdown my hair needed him. Everything was super clean, sanitized, and regulated. He only allows one client in the salon at a time and wears all the proper face coverings during the whole appointment. I felt super safe with all of his precautions and can not wait to come back again for my next appointment. I finally found a hairstylist I trust with my hair who also cares about the safety of others.

I visited Coco & Co. earlier this week with plans to consult about color & reapply my extensions. Antonio started out our conversation by asking questions. He encouraged an open dialogue & assured me how much my feedback throughout our process & hair relationship was welcomed and needed. His has a beautiful energy, very professional and shared his knowledge about color, hair & hair care. He took his time explaining the coloring process and why I may have encountered challenges to reach my hair color goals. He showed me pictures, diagrams and examples of how color combinations affect the outcome of a clients color. I can go on and on about all the positives I experienced at the salon and with Antonio, but I will summarize by saying this. As long as I am in Washington state Coco & Co. will have me as a client . I will gladly, proudly and confidently recommend this salon to anyone looking for...
