Junction 47 has been the best apartment living experience we could ask for. We were a bit nervous about how it would all work with a toddler, but the leasing office and residents were so friendly and we felt at home immediately.
Pros: The rooms are incredibly soundproof. We never had to worry about being disruptive to the neighbors with toddler crying/loudness, and we never heard our neighbors unless we were in the hallway (even though the units around us all had dogs) After a lot of research, we chose this apartment because we had read good things about the management, and it did not disappoint. Lakeysha, Stephanie, and Maria are wonderful and readily available. Our one maintenance request was dealt with quickly and thoroughly, and we always felt like we were in good hands. The cleaning team is amazing! The lobby and common areas are always very clean, and it felt like they were always being cleaned in the mornings. As a clean freak, it was really nice to be able to use the spaces and have confidence it was recently cleaned. Apartment was beautiful and clean. Good use of space and plentiful storage between cabinets and walk in closets Location really can't be beat. It's right on Alaska Junction, with two amazing bakeries within walking distance.
Cons: There really aren't too many cons I can list, and they are all small. But for completeness, will list what I can think of: Bathroom fans never turn off (there is no switch). I think most people just get used to the white noise, but I tend to notice those things so I just left the door closed Water pressure is decent but on the weaker side Our apt was in the East Building and our bedroom faced the alleyway. In general city noise wasn't an issue, except for the dump trucks in the alleyway being very loud around 7 am (and, on the rare occasion, at 3 am for whatever reason). Didn't seem to bother our toddler who slept in a room facing a different direction, but annoyed me more than a few times The parking garage is pretty tight. We have an SUV and after a month of trying to make the garage work we opted to park on the street instead (which is surprisingly relatively inexpensive with an RPZ permit, and we were able to find parking the next block over 95% of the time). Parking in the Junction 47 garage is do-able, but you may need to squeeze into your space and hope no one parks super close to you. Or, drive a smaller car than ours. We had a hard time getting our toddler in and out of her car seat. They do have several large vehicle slots which we were on the wait list for.
-- Update -- Move-out process was very smooth and straightforward, no unexpected fees or hassles :) We left the apartment in great condition (cleaned everything and paid for carpet cleaning) and got our...
Read more"Do real people write these reviews?" That's probably what you're asking yourself right now, because that's what I always asked myself. But yes, REAL people write reviews. I always make sure to do the best research I can when making a move and especially when you're moving states and don't have the time to fly/travel and visit the property to see if it's the right place for you. In total I had about 11 options that topped my list, Junction 47 was my number #1 on the top of my list. I asked all the apartment complexes on my list to send me pictures/videos, and information etc. Jason (from Junction) was the one that helped me since the beginning, for almost an entire month, he helped me while I was planning my move from California I'm telling you, Jason and Cliff are hard working and amazing people! They pay close attention to your needs, they don't just talk the talk they do everything in their power to make this move one of the best for you and your family. This place is pet friendly (never seen so many cute dogs & they have a pet grooming station!) They have a variety of apartment layouts, just saying I'm in love with my new home, it's beautiful! Don't even get me started with everything that's downstairs! Two 24hr grocery stores, Ups/Mail, almost all the banks, Starbucks right down the elevator (you can practically smell coffee from the lobby!), delicious restaurants and bars right at your feet (Chipotle, Subway, Nikko Teriyaki-the bomb, Fresh Bistro, Cupcake Royal, A la mode pies) I can go on and on! You get the idea, all these plus amazing shops are literally right here, you can literally see them from your window! I'm just saying it's amazing especially if you don't want to drive and you're stuck with an appetite. Farmers Market every Sunday 10-2 and can't forget the bus lines are right downstairs as well! The community at Junction is so heart warming nothing to worry about and it is super safe (trust me I'm big on making sure I'm in a safe place) Rob the Maintenance Manager is just A-MAZING! When you put in a service request he is on it in a snap! The property is always 100% clean. The staff here at Junction really want to make sure you are fully satisfied and extremely happy with your home. Honestly this is probably the longest review you've read but it was so worth it and trust me I have so much more to say about this place, just know that you won't regret making Junction 47...

Moving: I moved in December 2020 and had no issues. There is an alley between the east & west buildings that was easy to access with a moving truck or a POD. The leasing office provides one small-ish flat bed cart that helped significantly with moving (can reserve an elevator when moving in/out). Haven't moved out yet so can't comment on that process.
Location: I absolutely love love this area. Safeway, QFC, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's all within close walking distance (
