I would first like to note, my review comes from someone who eats high quality sushi every week, the point of paying $200-300 a person level of quality, so I just want to make that clear because although some people may love to come here Regularly, I might offend those of you.

Ordered the 21 PC sashimi, crunch roll, tamago, hotate, negihama, ika shiso maki and hakkaisan JG.

Overall fish cut is GIGANTIC. Like I can't fit the sashimi in my mouth comfortably, it's a size that would need you to open your mouth to gasp for air. Although people like quantity vs quality and some prefer this. I think sashimi is delicate and should be enjoyed bite by bite, piece by piece. The nigiri pieces are definitely two biters, not as traditional Japanese sushi would be made as (one full bite)

Rice quality, overcooked so it was a bit softer than it should. Vinegar level was tolerable, but it was a bit high.

Son enjoyed his crunch roll.

21 pc sashimi is shareable, like for 3 people. Each piece was about the size of 2-3 bites. It's served on a big pretty wooden boat.

Wasabi was pale and not flavorful.

Ginger was not very good.

Soy sauce, standard low sodium, no special house mix.

Price: affordable for the quantity Quality: comparable to a buffet level, tuna was not bright. It was dull in color, the, the rest was decent in flavor, escolar was a big fishy, yellowtail was pretty good.

Ika shiso maki wasn't made with the salted plum the first time. So they made another and put the sauce on the plate...not sure if that's how it's supposed to be.

Negihama wasn't very good. Fish to rice ratio was low. Not flavorful at all. Oddly.

Overall felt like a restaurant version of genki/kura Service was friendly and prompt.

I hate writing reviews like this. But I think it's a good spot for high protein and big fish portion (sashimi pieces at least) for the price. The $55 is a price that's worth it for sure.

I wish the server let me know how big the pieces were, I would've ordered the smaller sashimi plate. She asked me if it's my first time and I did tell her it was....so a little heads up...

We reserved for a big group of 10 for a birthday celebration. I was so happy with the service! We were taken care of so well! They always checked to make sure we had everything we needed. We didn’t bring cake for the birthday but they were able to get a candle for us on top of the icecream (creative idea!).

For food and drinks, highly recommend the lychee tini cocktail, hudson roll, wabi sabi roll and the coconut ice cream!! Lychee tini has perfectly balanced sweetness (and very aesthetic too!). The hudson roll is perfect for those who love spiciness like me (it was not so spicy so you could still taste the fresh fish). The coconut icecream was just the right amount of sweetness and texture and the coconut taste without that artificial coconut taste. I loved the little coconut bits in there!

Overall, very very pleased with the top-notch service, and the delicious food! I will definitely come back to Wabi Sabi again, whether it be with a big friend group or a...

The food is great, the wait times are okay, usually anywhere from 10-20 minutes depending on how busy it is, I only go during happy hour though, I gave it 3 stars though is because the price or normal rolls, and because I asked to order a roll to go, but I know my card has had issues there before so I asked them to ring it up first before they made it so they wouldn't waste food, and the server basically wouldn't even ring it up to check if my card worked, because all I had was my card and no cash. He said if he were to put in the order and it didn't work then they would have food that would be wasted, but my thing is if it doesn't work just tell the chef to cancel the order? I'm not sure but hey their loss, that's only money you're missing out on. The girl servers are usually pretty friendly though! Make sure you go...

An insult to even be called Japanese food! Everything was a bland! The chicken katsu was a bland mess, they did not even bother thinning it out so it looks like Quasimodo breaded in panko crumbs. The gyoza tasted store bought. The yam fries were barely thawed leaving them a soggy mess. The miso soup is a travesty, the flavor is sweet and nothing in the soup is fresh. I ordered four soups and they didn't even package it individually. The resulting soup looks like urine in a cup. The worst part is paying over 80 dollars and recieving this.

This place has been hit or miss, but the last few times have definitely shown improvement. The rolls this time we're fresh and the staff was friendly. Service can still be a little better but I a have learned that the sushi bar is a far better experience than getting a table. I'm still willing to keep trying this place because of the convenience and as long as it keeps improving I would recommend checking it out.
