I first came here about two years ago on a whim while walking around West Seattle. At the time, I just asked for a simple red polish, and it turned out fine. Because of that experience, I decided to return recently with my best friend to treat her before an upcoming wedding and her anniversary. Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing. We asked for cat eye nails for her, but the technician clearly wasn’t confident in doing this. Instead of being upfront about that, she went ahead — and the result was something we really didn’t like. She even redid the polish once while we were there, but gave us excuses rather than acknowledging it just wasn’t working. By the time she was “finished,” it still looked off, and when we stepped outside into natural light, we couldn’t help but laugh at how bad it looked. I encouraged my friend to go back the next morning and just ask for chrome nails, thinking that would be simpler. But again, she was told it couldn’t be done “because of the base color.” On top of that, her cuticles were left in rough shape, and the pedicure was sloppy as well. Overall, I wish the salon had just been honest about their limitations rather than letting us walk out unsatisfied. *For pricing reference $75 for the mani and $40 for regular polish & basic pedi.

*Not located in the Moon Room, it’s next door. I’ve been searching for a new nail place as the previous three locations have damaged my nails with the Dremel tool. Gatekeepers, I almost didn’t write this review! I went with TAP HYBRID mani and won’t go back to shellac/gel. The design was simple, but based on other reviews I’ll bump it up next time. A week later, my basic pedi lasted my whole vacay without chipping, so rare for me. My cuticles are healthy without hangnails. Jennifer, Ann and Kim are amazing at what they do so I had to share. They have my business for the foreseeable future!

I had been going to another nail salon in West Seattle for years, but this is officially my new go-to! The team is wonderful—professional, friendly, and talented. They offer great add-on options like extra massage time during pedicures, which I love. I also switched from shellac to tap nails, and I’m so glad I did. I used to deal with chipping or peeling within two weeks, but with tap, my nails have been growing out beautifully with zero issues in just one month. Highly recommend!

I called to see if they had availability for a gel pedi & regular mani. They told me no & as I was on my way to another salon they called me back telling me to go ahead & come in. I saw great reviews for them so was excited to try them out! They seemed to rush through both services, I had to ask a few times for them to re-do a few things (cuticles, nail cutting & cleaning, and small Calluses on my feet). Normally I don’t mind to do that because not everyone likes the same so sometimes you do have to tell them. Their attitude wasn’t very friendly or welcoming at all & I felt more of a bother than anything. I apologized several times for being “difficult”- though I wasn’t really being difficult, and each time was given zero response. Why call me back and tell me to come if my services will be rushed and not up to par, and you’re giving the vibe of not wanting to even be doing my nails? I normally never give bad reviews and am very understanding but I’m so disappointed with my services received today & will not...

I’ve been coming here for years and it’s a great place to get pedicures and dipped nails. They are meticulous but quick and they don’t get attitude-y when you make requests. Prices are fair (30$ish for a pedicure and 50$ish for dipped nails.) Jennifer and Mia (make sure you only get them) remember you and are polite and friendly. They have free Wi-Fi and i enjoy all the cooking and baking shows they play on their multiple tvs. I’ve had to bring my kids once or twice while i got a pedicure and they were understanding and gave my kids lollipops and let them decide what to watch. It’s easy to make an appointment over the phone (highly recommended,) but please call if you need to cancel. They are understanding of late cancels but it’s frustrating to them and their other patrons if you no show because they don’t overbook. Lots of free street parking in the front makes this west seattle nail...
