Terrible venue for a headliner or bigger named artist. The staff was rude, complaining they were understaffed and that was the reason to treat the fans like crap. We waited in line over 70 minutes in the freezing cold before even approaching the front door, and there was zero direction from anyone. People were having to use the bathroom in the parking lot and some even bailed all together because they were so fed up! No excuse for the line moving as slow as it did, and no regulations posted anywhere as far what size bag, what to expect at the door, pat down requirements, etc. Total crap. I will never be back unfortunately and it's a huge disappointment because it was my first time purchasing through WRG, first time attending an event at Hangar 30 and my first time seeing that artist. 1...
Read moreFlea market - $10 to enter in the afternoon, $15 in the morning. Mostly vintage clothes and jewelry. I came on a Saturday at 1pm and it was still pretty packed. There's also some furniture and other odds and ends, little bit of upscale stuff you'd find at a regular market like soaps, beauty and other. Also a couple food trucks up front with typical Seattle pricing. There was plenty of parking when I went but you might need to walk a minute or two. The inside is clean enough and doesn't feel dangerous. Not really my thing and the entry fee is a bit annoying but it'd be even more packed without it, and they gotta rent the place somehow. 3 stars just because I don't personally care for the selection of items as an average dude and it's nothing...
Read moreI went to Hangar 30 for LANSyndicate, a gaming LAN party hosted by TEK Syndicate, the computer gaming and hardware channel. The space is open, has good and hygienic restroom facilities, and allows for hot dog stands and other catering services. The chairs and tables are flimsy metal ones though and the internet is quite slow though if you're having a few hundred people checking in and playing videogames. Also, there's no air conditioning (atleast when I went) so if you're doing an event during the summer (we went in Jan when it was cooler), prepare to be in an oven. Do note that Hangar 30 is supposed to be developed into a park but when I went there, it was still the hangar in which planes were manufactured in...
