I was so excited to try this place out after reading all the reviews. I drove almost an hour and arrived early. I placed an order for 12 choux pastries to be filled with chocolate, hazelnut and pistachio. The owner told me he was out of hazelnut (I am thinking this is just the start of the day so surely you will need some for other customers) and I asked him to make some more hazelnut to which he told me to return in 20 minutes. I should mention that a couple days prior I called the business multiple times to try and order ahead of time, but there is no way to leave a message and no one answers. I took my order home and the tops had 3 different finishes leading me to think that corresponds to my 3 flavors I ordered. I received ZERO hazelnut flavors, so disappointed. I tried to call multiple times, again no answer. I sent an email, no reply. A week later I sent my husband to place the same order and this time my husband calls me in front of owner saying they are out of chocolate and he tells my husband to come back in 15 minutes and he will make the chocolate. He gets home with 3 different top decorations and you guessed it no chocolate. How do you deliberately lie to customers? I thought the first time maybe cut him some slack, but clearly he doesn’t have any respect for his customers. I will make sure to NEVER order from this business again. I am all about supporting small businesses, but this has some dishonest practices that I do not...
Read moreI had the pleasure of visiting Panterelli, a charming pastry and coffee shop in West Seattle, and it truly surpassed all my expectations. First off, the coffee was fantastic, brewed to perfection, and a great start to my visit. But the real stars of the show were the incredible pastries, especially their innovative "Croichoux," a genius blend of a croissant and choux pastry.
I indulged in two variations of the Croichoux. One was adorned with a rich, velvety hazelnut cream that was absolutely divine. The other, which was even more exquisite, featured a blend of pistachio and raspberry cream, offering a burst of flavors that was both refreshing and indulgent. The texture and mouth-feel of these pastries were second to none—flaky, yet soft and utterly delectable, making each bite a delightful experience.
Panterelli is a neighborhood gem that I can't recommend enough. These are, without a doubt, some of the best pastries you'll find not only in West Seattle but anywhere. Do yourself a favor and visit soon; your taste buds...

The chef is always gently welcoming, His employees consistently working so diligently.
This cafe is still a gem autumn 2025.
Chocolate covered vanilla filled choux bun-chocolate was dark, very flavorful, with hearty snap. Vanilla filling was satisfying, not heavy, not too light. Pastry had a nice structure/texture. Elegant light powdered sugar sprinkling.
Raspberry covering is very flavorful and tart, good snap.
Plain Croissant had a mild sweetness, maybe from the butter. Very pleasant and yummy. Obvious numerous laminations. Not too big. Not small.
What a bargain, 4 items for $20.50. Thank you for coming to the...
