I’ve been looking for a nail salon in Seattle with good prices, quality service, and a easy way for me to make flexible appointments this past year. After exploring some options in the greater Seattle area - I finally found a spot I will regularly return to and a huge plus is having U-Village so close. On a Friday, I decided to squeeze in a nail appt before my evening plans, and found Sandals Nail Salon have many options that worked great with my calendar via online booking tool. In addition, the salon is incredibly clean and takes COVID precaution seriously, which is awesome to see. I really loved the gel color options they had where they offered 30-40+ colors. It’s rare to find places that have more pastel and neutral color options, but was pleasantly surprised to see such a variety. I also loved the option to select different type of hand lotion and oil - I’m not a huge fan of the scent of coconut and they had alternative options. Lastly, the final product of my nails have been the best I’ve ever gotten. The shape, color, paint job, and touch up. I highly recommend this salon and will...
Read moreI’ve been getting dip powder for 4 years, and this was the WORST experience I’ve ever had. I have never left a bad review, but I felt this was necessary because of how disappointed I am. First, I had an appointment and I sat there and waited while they took a walk in who came after me. They didn’t start doing my nails until 25 minutes after my appointment time. The girl who did my nails didn’t ask me what shape I wanted and just poorly filed them so all of my nails were uneven lengths. If you’ve gotten dip before, you know they normally dip 2-3 times and then use the drill to smooth it out and clean around your cuticles. The girl dipped my nails twice and then went to put the top coat on without smoothing them out. I had to ask her to do and she was rude about it so now they are bumpy and thick. She rushed through the entire thing. Furthermore, they charge an additional $10 to remove dip you previously had on, which I’ve never paid for before. I will never be coming back to this place & I hope this review warns you...
Read moreWent to get a dip manicure here and had the worst experience. There weren’t that many people in the salon but they took their time getting to me and my friend. Then, when they were taking off my previous dip powder, the lady burned me multiple times then laughed and said “sorry for burning you” and proceeded to burn me 2 more times. In the middle of doing my nails she got up and offered everyone in the salon a bottle of water, making me wait even longer. 3 other girls came in and left before I was finished. I spent a total of 1.5 hours in the salon. After I was ready to pay, they charged me $10 for the removal of my dip. I’ve never been charged for that before, let alone after being burned multiple times. It was also more expensive than other salons I’ve been to.
Overall salon experience was a 1/10 but my dip has stayed on very well. Just...
