We were staying at Seattle Children’s for a week and everyone was raving about this taco truck. My wife and I LOVE taco trucks and have been to a dozen or more throughout the Seattle area.

I walked down to get 4 carne asada and 3 pollo, bill was 23 bucks. A bit high for my liking for 7 tacos, but I’m a firm believer you get what you pay for.

There was a TON of meat. Like twice as much as usual as there is simply no way it could’ve fit into 4 tortillas. I’ve never been one to complain about too much meat. Also helped justify the price.

Then I took a bite and oh damn. It was awful. Asada was cooked into an oblivion. I would equate it to dog food. Hard as hell. Flavorless. And genuinely unpleasant to eat. The tortillas, were like if you bought some store bought street taco sized, then left them sitting out for 3 days. Edges were hard and crunchy. They broke when trying to pickup the taco into a standard taco form....they just sucked.

I ate my expensive tacos only because I spent so much on them. But was easily the worst taco truck experience I’ve maybe ever had.

Everyone loves this place, so who knows if I got a very rare experience, but I can’t recommend anyone go there. If you decide to give it a...

TL;DR: Really mid burrito for a 45 min wait.

Bruh I regretted my decision to get food here after the dude told me it’ll take 20 mins to get my pollo asado burrito and after 20 mins I didn’t get my burrito. They give you a beeper for when your food is ready. Lots of ppl waiting in addition to mobile orders. I kinda got annoyed when I asked the guy again about when my food would be ready 25 mins in and he waved me off saying “Give me a couple more mins”. Didn’t get my food until 45 mins after I ordered. Waited so long I thought about disputing the charge on my banking app and walking away

I thought maybe since I saw that this spot (which is a food truck that doesn’t really move) on TikTok it would be really good and worth the wait. I was so wrong. The burrito was so mid I was thinking “why didn’t I go to Chipotle??”

The chicken lowkey was a bit undercooked in my opinion (I’m a Black male just fyi) but I’m not sick as of the time of this review. I had to shower my burrito in sauce for it to taste somewhat good. The only thing that actually lived up to the hype was the actual size of the burrito which was pretty decent (I wear large sized gloves). All in all, really mid for a long wait. Don’t go out your...

Very long wait to recieve food. Id estimate that it was 25 to 30 minutes. I ordered 3 plain chicken tacos ($14.49 inc 20% tip). There was confusion during orders, as the person taking orders was clearly distracted. So when so much time went by, and I saw around 5 people get their order. I went to the window to ask, as I figured there was a mistake. I don't think he liked that, as I was ignored until the next outbound order was complete. He looked around, luckily it was being packaged and was next. I'm not sure how the queue was working, as I was seeing people get their food out of order. My only thought was that it was delayed, and they processed it out of queue, but recovered. He didn't apologize for the delay, but just looked indignant.

The atmosphere is bad. At night it looks so quaint with the cafe lights, but it's just a bunch of very old and dirty metal tables and some cattle fencing with lights hung. There's a distinctive lack of chairs for the area.

It's just a run of the mill taco truck, still welcome in an area without much food choices, but it's slow, service isn't great, and poor outside...

Baby-sized Burrito (Best Bang for your Buck): El Camion has, hands-down, the absolute best Carne Asada burrito I have ever had. And they give you plenty of it. Every time I have ordered this Mexican Marvel I end up only being able to eat half for dinner and then joyously have half for lunch the following day. That is a large banana for scale. So not only is it long, but the cross-section size is colossal. Even if the filling was lack-luster, I could justify the amount of burrito you get for the price. As I have stated though, this is far from the case. The carne asada is exceptionally seasoned, slightly chewy as authentic carne asada should be. The beans and rice are both flavorful, and neither have been over/undercooked. Even the tortilla is exceptional. It performs the Herculean test of keeping the burrito insides on the inside, while also being flavorful with a bit of chewiness. If I'm ever craving a burrito, I'm heading straight over to El Camion.

I pass this place every day going to work and never had the time to stop at it. So, I decided to go there after work on Saturday. I was thinking about it all day, text my husband and he told me what I wanted. I pulled up to it after work and walk up to order and the guy says he is out of propane! You can hear my heart break! I couldn't wait 20 mins, I still had 45 mins drive home. I decided to try it again on Sunday... and boy! I was sooooo happy I did! It was sooo good! I got the steak quesadilla with veggies (definitely get the veggies) and I couldn't wait to go home and eat it! I was trying to eat it driving but was getting distracted so I had to wrap it up and put it away! I am definitely going back again!

Everyone who works here is amazing. Now, the food is *chefs kiss*, I'm from SoCal, this place hits the spot. First, the nachos.... They're huge, delicious, and there is no shortage of toppings. As with all nachos, best immediately. The veggie burrito is full of veggies and not just beans and basically filler like some places. Tamales are fresh made each day and all amazing (esp the mole). Some of the best tacos in the area. A ton of salsa options, martajada is my favorite. Tons of great NA beverage options including sangria and jumex. The only things missing here are elotes and beer, but you can take your food next door to Burke Gilman Brewery.
