I am a preschool teacher and I have to be sitting down a lot, and my lower back was killing me; I drove by the place, and I decided to try it out. I tried the Swedish massage for one hour; overall, the massage was really good. As you all know, teachers don’t make a lot of money, even my budget was planned only to afford the massage, but I did my best to show gratitude to the lady. I paid for the massage and I gave an eight-dollar tip. The lady looked at me and said: “for your information, clients give between 15 to 20 dollars tip”. It did not make me feel good. I was trying an effort to show gratitude.
I am wondering how they will respond to a person that only can pay the price of the massage. It is a hard time for everyone. I wonder if now the tip is mandatory, and I missed out on that...
Read moreThe guy didn’t wash his hands before starting. He was massaging my scalp and basically everything and his hands were really oily. Once he started on my back I asked him at least twice to ease up saying that that’s too much and he kept saying that I just needed to relax. Listen to your client. If someone is telling you that they’re not enjoying it then you need to stop. Also asked him to work a little bit more on my shins and he didn’t do that at all. I would not recommend coming here.
