I recently had the pleasure of dining at Friendship BBQ and I must say, it was an amazing experience! From the moment we walked in, the friendly atmosphere made us feel right at home. The food, priced reasonably for its quality and flavor, truly exceeded our expectations.
To start our afternoon lunch date, we enjoyed a cup of refreshing green tea along with some peanuts and a cucumber salad. Let me tell you, that cucumber salad was a game-changer! It was the best thing I have eaten in a long time, and I found myself going back to it throughout the entire meal. The freshness and vibrant flavors of the salad were simply outstanding.
We decided to try the combo A with medium spice, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice. Every item in the combo was packed with well-balanced flavors, but the mushrooms and lamb stole the show for me. The tenderness of the meat and the earthy taste of the mushrooms made for a truly delightful combination.
While we thoroughly enjoyed most of our choices, the potato rice didn't quite hit the mark for me personally. It just wasn't my cup of tea, but I understand that taste preferences can vary widely. Nonetheless, it didn't overshadow the overall enjoyment of the meal.
The highlight of our dining experience was the sauce that accompanied the squid. It had a unique twist on the classic sweet soy flavor, which made it even more delicious. The combination of the sauce with the tender squid was a true delight for the taste buds.
On a whim, we decided to add some shrimp to our order at the last minute, and it was a decision we didn't regret. The shrimp were cooked to perfection and added an extra touch of seafood goodness to our meal.
In conclusion, I highly recommend Friendship BBQ to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. The food is amazing, the price is reasonable, and the flavors will leave you satisfied. Don't miss out on the cucumber salad and be sure to explore their flavorful combo options. Whether it's a lunch date or a casual dinner, Friendship BBQ is a place...

Read moreThere are so much to like about this place and I really want to give it a 5 star rating but I just can't. The food is not as good as the rest of the restaurant. I decided to give it a 4 star because at least the skewers are better. First, do NOT order any food that's not a skewer here. I'll explain later. The place has cool atmosphere and it's quite full even on a weekday late night so it gives you a great Asian sports bar vibe even though there is no big TV playing sports channels. It's all about food to share among friends. The service is prompt and you get a skewer warmer when you sit down. However, taste is off on most of the food offerings especially the non skewers. I ordered the tinfoil frog and the frogs are definitely previously frozen so not fresh and the sauce/soup is seriously lacking in spices. It's not that it's not spicy enough just the flavor is wanting. There just isn't any coherent flavoring in the soupbase. They should learn more from Sichuan flavoring to cover up the "fishiness" of the frogs when it's not freshly prepared. The conch pieces are tiny and once again flavoring is off. It's also not spicy enough. The skewers are much better but some skewers are probably half cooked before and just reheated so they can serve them quicker. That caused most of the skewers to be drier than they should. However overall skewers are definitely better choice than the rest of the menu. I tried the large xinjiang lamb skewers and I think it's a little pricy for the amount of meat. I recommend putting a little more fat on the meat skewers. Overall I'm giving this a...
