The mall, is the ever buzzing shopping mecca of West Seattle. A place that many local residents call upon to fulfill Their daily shopping needs, grab a bite, or simply meet a friend for coffee. The environment seems to be growing with improvement. The Taco Del Mar is now something called "Baja Taco". (?) The Pier One Imports has been removed with work being done to usher in what I'm sure to be another enterprise company. Target has made a change of its own. The once staple snack stand, a place of nostalgia for many customers, has been replaced by a Starbucks Coffee. Bringing the total number of Starbucks Coffee shops and stands on Westwood's sizable campus to what some are considering an "excessive" four. With no shortage of caffeine to fuel you, you'll find that Westwood offers its customers a one stop shop for a wide variety of goods and services. Conveniently located across from a major metro hub with routs running throughout West Seattle and direct in to Downtown you don't have to be a West Seattle native to take advantage of The villages annual summer festival, or to visit for pictures with Santa during the holiday season. Not to mention the year round savings and convenience that has help Westwood become a real "SPOT...
Read moreThere isn’t a great variety of retailers, and the food options include subs, mod pizza, teriyaki and McDonalds. There is a c line rapidride bus stop right next to Westwood Village which can take you through w. Seattle to downtown. I would like to see more trees and foliage planted, as the parking lot is extremely hot and unattractive. I personally enjoyed Barnes and Noble, and getting a quick taco at the Mexican joint. However the property owners priced them out, with B&N being replaced with a Ross. Lastly, the parking seems to be senselessly designed, as there is always overcrowding and traffic jams, and you will be recorded by various trailer surveillance cameras. Because this shopping center is surrounded by bus stops, there are always drifters wandering about. The bus stops compounds the traffic issues around the village. Overall this is a popular spot for the local high schoolers, but I wouldn’t recommend going shopping here, unless...

Without a car-how, where & how do you literally be able to "touch, feel, look" at products. I'm not big @ online shopping. I personally still like to see, touch & feel. Most of these products sold in a store like this..YIKES How can you not touch & feel prior to buying??? Maybe that's just me!?! To continue. QFC is a disaster. Empty shelves, toxic environment, disgruntled employees. Phew. Stopped shopping there these last few months. Thank goodness. Rite aid doing really okay. Shelves finally really stocked well. Great people & Manager. Happy to go there. Okey dokey..that's it for & from...
