This park is a beautiful place for a picnic. It was my first time there it's very remote small gathering of people many features as far as a trail walk a private swimming pool club you do have to pay to get in but it's worth it very spacious with lounge chairs a canopy to sit under shade. You can barbecue but you have to call town hall. Monday- Friday office is open for a permit in order to use the grills they provide if not the park officer will shut you down from continuing barbecuing he was nice enough to let us finish the last items we had because it was our first time and we didn't know until we read the sign located at the side of grills by then it was too late since we had all the food already barbecuing. We went on a Saturday so we were unable to purchase permit...

Really enjoyed my trip here on 6/17. The park is under a blanket of trees which provide a real tranquil experience. The playground area was great for children of all ages. I wish I lived closer. There was a pool that I could see but you must go with a Resident as out of towners cannot use recreation pool. I do understand that though as this is in an urban area. Def going back to the park the next time I have an appointment...
