Poor comms, unprofessional tone, and last-minute changes I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Bliss Wine Tours warrants it. I booked my tour in advance through Viator, and the confirmation clearly stated that pick-up would be from my resort, Mii Amo. Less than 24 hours before the tour, I received a text saying they do not pick up from Mii Amo and that I’d need to get myself to the public library instead. This was a complete surprise...there was no heads-up after booking, no mention of this in the listing, and no prior outreach to clarify. I had planned around the originally confirmed pickup time and location. I politely asked if we could adjust pickup slightly within the published range (which said 10:30), but instead of a collaborative response, I was met with defensive, dismissive replies and told my resort was a "random location"... despite the website confirming it at time of booking. When I suggested they clarify the misleading listing and improve their communication with Viator, I was told I was being “aggressive” and they unilaterally canceled my tour. To be clear: I was never rude, I simply expected a basic level of accountability and professionalism. Instead, I was gaslit and blamed for calling out their operational issues... and then penalized for speaking up. Being a paying customer who voices valid concerns ≠ being aggressive. If you’re considering this tour, be warned: the tone shifts quickly from friendly to condescending the moment you flag an issue. And if your pickup isn’t simple for them logistically, they’ll cancel on you instead of owning the error. Travelers deserve better.

Honestly, read every negative review on Viator and they’ll tell you everything you need to know about this company. They care about one thing and will stop at nothing to get it and it certainly isn’t the customer. Spoiler alert, it’s the money. Take feedback and learn from it, right? No, they are perfect and choose to be condescending and rude from the moment you interact with them. My family is from the area and there are much better family run business that you should consider for this experience even if all they do is treat you as a respectable human because I certainly can’t say Bliss does. I’ll help them on this one and just post their response so they don’t have to waste their precious time doing it. I have the text messages to prove that we did not “demand”, we asked. We cancelled when they offered a refund BUT then they stopped responding and we got no cancellation notice or refund so we decided to follow through. They proceeded to leave us at the pick up point and not respond when we reached out to try to meet the tour at the first stop. AWFUL.

The ratings given have all to do with our amazing guide Spencer!!! SO knowledgeable, great personality and great at what he does. And you can tell the staff of the wineries feel the same. We were a small group of six and could not have asked for a more perfect mix, so fun to make new friends. And shout out to Javalina Leap Estate, Vineyards~the Champagne (gotta try it!) the atmosphere and staff, we’re perfect!!!! NOTE: fully read tour description, noting that what is not included, is tastings. You pay additionally for any wine samples with discount from the tour so you’ll want to factor that into your budget.

Frank was a terrific tour guide!!! He was prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and had a great personality.

I gave a 1 star because the company would not remove drunk guests, making our experience uncomfortable.

They broke glasses on the coach, left drinks spilled on other guests' seats, and were embarrassing themselves at the different stops in the wineries. These same people were late getting back on the bus and had to be chased down by Frank at every stop.

Frank was awesome, and I hope this was a one-off experience with drunk guests.

In the end, these drunk guests trashed the coach, were disrespectful to other guests, and didn't tip Frank.

We took care of Frank with a nice tip. Frank was awesome!!

Updated review to respond to owners misinformed statement:

My only complaint was with some rowdy and inconsiderate passengers that made the trip not only uncomfortable for the 4 of us but others outside of our group.

The same roudy guests fell down the stairs of one of the wineries we visited. When someone went to help, she was so enebriated she couldn't remember the Tour she was on when asked by the person assisting her to her feet..

It was so bad that a guide from another agency offered us their business cards for future tours and mentioned that was not a one-off for your agency.

My husband never spoke with anyone from your company, and you must have confused other dissatisfied customers on this...

This wine tour was disappointing. We didn’t understand from the description that the wine tasting itself is not included, so we had sticker shock at the charges we were expected to pay to taste the wines. The wines that we did try were unimpressive, and not the calibre that would entice one to ship a few bottles home. The tour guide (Frank) was intolerably rude and quite arrogant, and although he briefed the bus on what to expect, the music was so loud we could barely hear. He said that his microphone had been stepped on! We hadn’t been at the first stop long, and Frank was loudly broadcasting his life story and self professed accomplishments to anyone in earshot. We deemed this rather inappropriate for a guide, who’s focus should be on the guests, and not himself! Upon arrival at the first winery, the guide told us we were disrespectful and our tour was being cancelled. He had reported us to the tour company and basically lied about the situation. We called and spoke to the office, and fortunately were switched to a different bus and driver. E.C. was his name, and he was professional, humorous and kind. He helped turn the day around with his helpfulness and good manners. Overall, if high quality wine tasting is what you are seeking, then this will surely fall short. If you seek mediocre wine and a party atmosphere, then that’s what you will get. Be prepared to pay top $ for the...
